I too, have done a number on my collar bone, however it was only once. It still looks like the day it happened, sticking out a mile and a half and I need to go in and get it surgically corrected at some point.
I assume when you had the misfortune of the second breaking, they put it back together with a plate and some pins?
I broke my wrist about 9 years ago. It was the scaphoid bone and i was in a case for five and a half months ( I did a good job on it ) cool part was I got a new case every 2 weeks because they needed to Xray the progress so I choose a new color to match every holiday or season i went thru with it on. I was 29 yrs old at the time. When you get older things seem to heal slower.
