Hey everybody. I want to learn how to change a 10mm QR rear hub to a 12mm bolted Thru axle hub. Is it possible to do this with a 'kit', or something along those lines without having to buy a new hub?
never heard of converting from 10mm to 12mm, only from 10mm qr to 10mm bolt on, would to see some before and after shots of a 10mm to 12mm conversion is possible
well, i need something that will be a complete thru axle - something that will slide through the hub so i can take out my wheel without threading out the dropouts.
there is such thing as this converter for hope pro 2 but im not sure if i can get it at my lbs

10mm thru is just a regular quick release, you can convert pretty much any 10mm qr rear hub into a bolt on (which is a solid axle that has nuts on either side, just like a bmx style) but i have never heard of being able to convert a 10mm hub to a 12mm
yes now i understand - i can get the 10mm thru axle on my hope pro 2 converted to a bolt through the hub that pulls out with nuts or whatever on both sides. which is bmx style... ok this makes sense and it is what i am going to do. thanks guys sorry for wording the title wrong. i didnt understand what the whole ideaw as. cheers
