anything that was built up was destroyed long ago. really the only maintained trails left are at Malden park. Morten is now owned by the bridge company & had the cops handing out trespassing tickets all summer, Burnett is nice but you're now not allowed to "race" so anything faster than walking will usually result in call to the cops. don't waste your time at Little River. I did some maintenance on the trails last year & was rewarded with dog walkers, moms with strollers, tots on tricycles & a picnic on the bike path. the small area of skinnies between the rocks & over the ditches was quickly turned to firewood by the teens for bush parties & then after that they were smashing glass & spreading nails on the back section of trails. so pretty much all that's left is wandering downtown looking for any urban obstacles.
