But you actually have to remove the lowers? cant just pop the spring out the top and do it that way?

the drop stop should just be inside the spring and when you take the spring out it should come too.

Well, after a long time and much reading and study I have finally found a few little changes that seem to make the Boxxer Race 2010 fork a fork load better!!! Please note that I am a fairly light weight (153lb) so may not need to go as extreme as me.

1) Light spring, due to other mods in here I may need to alter this, but I went for Silver super light spring. I still get about 27% sag which seems about right.

2) Changing the shim stack I know that link is to a domain fork but Boxxer race Mission control is the same. I removed the large shim, this is probably not the best thing for some people, but it made small bump compliance MUCh improved, bonus is it can be altered endlessly.

3) TF Tuned sell a low friction seal kit. This seems to have made a really big difference on the stiction, a good service and these seem to have made the forks move without much effort at all!!!

4) Fork Juice. I know there are some people say this is unnecessary and they could be right but I certainly noticed a change once this stuff was put on the stanchions, and I did a blind test (he didnt know I had used it) with my brother and he seemed to agree that it makes the fork smoother. Plus it stops crap from sticking.

Now 3/4 have only changed recently so its a short test time but I can promise that the change is VERY real! I am super happy with the change in how the fork works! Only thing now is with this improved movement do I need to add a drop stop to prevent bottoming out!

Hope this helps some people. Smile
