my new woody.

I like the Death Star X-Wings and T.I.E. Fighters sitting in there.

Holy f*ck didn't even notice them. That is seriously awesome.

Cheers lads. Good catch.
Always nice when the subtle details are enjoyed.

Happy festivus!

I looked at it and thought it was the Deathstar...then looked again and seen the tiny TIEs and X-Wings. I love subtle details like that in stuff.

Yup, no skill in the world will get you painting like that, you need some artistic vision too!

haha i was thinking painting the headtube purple if you know what i mean. Nah i've seen someone on this thread that does some air brushing that would look sick on my frame

EDIT: it was actually pimpin-gimp's helmet on page 623 that looks sweet as hell

Well you generally paint it for someone who gives a brief of what they want and if its for personal use you know what you like

Really nice work to look at. If you had any photos of work in progress/ steps you take in the making of these helmets I for one would love to see them.

Cheers Obee! I usually take some snaps along the way so I'll dig some out and post them here. Not usually much to look at tho...

i find a lot of value in seeing the documentation of HOW someone makes something, sometimes more than that which they make. especially if they are good at it. at the very least it reaffirms the process i use, or even better, it teaches me something new.
