another question that may have been asked but here goes. i wear glasses and so have a set of oakley l frame goggles that fit over my sports glasses. these however steam/fog up pretty bad. any tips to stop them fogging up. i saw on the bay replacement lenses for mine with little drilled holes down each side to let in air for cooling. do these work and would these possibly work if i was to just drop some holes into mine around the edge at intervals. need new lenses as mine scratched so worth a shot with the old ones first. any comments welcome cheers.
My mate had the genius idea of gaffa taping silicone packs into his goggles (the ones you get in shoes) before changing to the anti-fog fillers you get for the go-pro, it worked but seemed a bit overkill. I just go for no goggles and a bit of a squint As for body armour I reckon just wear what ever is going to make you feel confident, although it was so hot last year I think everyone i was with was down to just knee pads by the end of the week.

i've never had a problem with goggles steaming up on my the helmet but on my old helmet with the same goggles, the chin guard funnelled the air i was breathing out straight up into the goggles making them steam up. sounds completely retarded i know. but might be worth trying with a different helmet (or changing the way you breathe?!)
Mine tend not to mist up if I'm moving, but sometimes if I'm not going fast enough they will. This can often be solved by turning my head sideways slightly, changes the airflow around them and seems to help demist them.
You can use stuff like mr sheen to stop a motorbike visor steaming up so I would imagine it would work on goggles too. I've never tried it on goggles but it worked really well on the visor
You know you should never touch thé inside of your lenses right? It removes thé anti fog coating
need new lenses any way as helmet blew off the roof of the car in winter and landed on goggles. seen some with air vents across the top so will try them.
