I've been running Hope V4 and Saint M820 on each bike for over a year and both of them perform great.
Got some Magura MT7 not long ago and been testing side by side with the others.
These things are immense.. easily a match for both Shimano and Hope for outright power and modulation.

2015 Magura MT-7

Thanks for the replies a couple of pages ago about the Avid washers!

CPS washers! Now I know their actual name I'm able to find some better deals on them Razz . I'll just buy them with bolts though.

I did take some from some v-brakes I had about but didn't have many.

Cheers,
Ali

Just lubricated, realigned and bled my Hope E4's after neglecting them over the winter... Reconfirmed how awesome they are! Big Grin

A quick search hasn't yielded fruit... Anybody running SRAM's new Guides? Any good threads of thoughts, concerns, feedback?

I recently chucked out a few low end v-brakes, saved those washers though, never know when you might need them.

By low end I mean Halfords grade stamped steel. Mostly U- Brakes, kept a couple pairs of post mount brakes that had branding on them though(Tektro/Shimano).

Running SRAM DB5. 180mm/front and 160mm/rear. Terrible brake fade on DH. Though, I am 250lbs while riding.
