Definetly Vans over talas. ive tried both and the air is either too hard, i.e not supple over jittery bumps or is too soft and bottoms on everything.
the vans are just way smoother and only .2lb extraSmile

the only reason i went for the talas is becuase its the only fox fork that goes down to 100mm

From what I've heard, you aren't supposed to run TALAS in the lowered position for long periods of time. It f*cks up the internals somehow.

As for what Fox is my fav, gotta be the Van. Simple and effective.

Get a float lowerd to 100, mcuh more reliable, if your talas f*ckeds up the warrenty can have it lowerd and made into a float for free! Big Grin

i have a talas rc2 on my bottlerocket and i like it. the only fox i have ever owned so i can not say if it is the best or not ... the best one i have ridden. not a big fan of travel adjust but it has not been a problem yet

Vanilla, cheapest, coil, black (once you go black you dont go back). The only disadvantage is no travel adjust
