Usually soft, just enough so it won't bottom.

Why would anyone EVER want to ride a soft work for DJ or street riding? A soft fork will only absorb your momentum and keep you thoroughly grounded.

hard, just enough so it absorbs impacts. if you have compression damping, set it low

i may get flamed or some shit but i run my fork really soft not too soft that i bottom by pushing on it but soft enough i use all the travel and it saves my wrist

Hard. Soft forks make you lose speed

Samesies. What's the point in having suspension if you don't use it? I can still keep my speed fine on dj's and I have a bmx for street so speed's not an issue.
