I'd consider flipping the stem and putting a spacer underneath. I know cutting steerers sucks, but that post sticking up is a thing of nightmares.

Flipping the stem? NO MAN Jail

Now I'm running a race face atlas with 0.5" rise so there is a spacer underneath. The fork has one month so even i'm trying differents setups.

In the photo the fork is 120mm, but with 100mm I've to upper the stem.
This is why i didn't cut steerers yet

I've never seen one you couldn't flip.

Yeah sorry I meant are they designed to be flipped?..like the Apex stem?

No, not designed to be flipped but by their nature they can be. The Steerer tube must be square to the bar and that will happen regardless of the orientation. I guess I'll have to correct myself though, I have seen at least one stem that could not really be flipped but it was a real stubby stem that would have interfered with the headset, but even then, a couple spacers and it would have worked. Most of the stress is on the part of the stem that holds the steerer tube, but that's why it's always the beefiest part, with the low rise of MTB bars compared to BMX the stem caps don't have that much stress on them that's why the can be such a light part.

Sure the Apex could be flipped.

You can but... I wouldn't do it personally, things are designed for being used properly, if you flip then, well...
That fork is Manitou Minute. I had an Argyle and then I bought this Manitou, and it was the best that i could do.
Good in all of aspects.
