I got the same stem. But with district bars.

I had problems with that stem. But that's just me. Octane one chemical pro was wayyy better for me.

What problems should I be expecting with that stem? I know a guy who messed up his from putting too much pressure on the Allen key and the inside thread completely stripped out. That's the main one I'm expecting to happen to me, so I'm knowing that I hope I can prevent that from happening.

What happened to yours?

That is what happened to mine. I even used a torque wrench and it still striped out the threads. Also as you tighten it the bars start to turn to the left a little bit. I had to aim mine slightly to the right so it would be straight after it was tight.

Now that you explain that I can definitely see it from the design of the stem

Are those vans grips not a little harsh on your palms? I thought they were quite hard when I saw them?

Ah beaut, they look awesome mate..i usually use carpet glue with slip ons instead of wire tho,u tried that?

Not had any issue with the wire so never bothered man! Would rather not use any adhesive with the carbon bars in case it damaged the lacquer on them anyway!

The Helm is awesome, very nicely made. Moto clamp is sick!

CK headset pricing is pretty consistent - around $140 USD from most retailers
