i am sick of seeing amazing trails everywhere except ottawa. many poeple have ok trails on private property, but if we all build in one place we could have nice trails. give me ideas and places!
Seeing this thread reminds me, I am supposed to post something on here about a bike park that me and a team of friends are trying to achive in Orleans. In partnership with sketch Orleans, a non profit organization in Orleans, we are looking nito creating a bike park in the east end. We are currently scouting out reasonable locations, and will soon be going around gathering signatures to prove there would be interes in our are. I will know more later, but if you have any ideas of an are to build a freeride "skills park" do not hesitate to notify myself, dirtjumper51, maxie214 or rdani080.
We were thinking in Orleans, as in nowhere further west the Greens Creek. We are trying to keep it accessible, and have somewhat of a hill to get a start seeing as this will be a freeride bike park, and will have many big bikes if all goes well.
If I get back for any length of time I'll throw a shovel for a day or two, anyone willing to take me up on the offer should give me a heads up for who to talk to
