i agree, stay away from red. the black linkage on the other hand might look good.

actually it was a great decision. want to go more bigger freeride than slopestyle. my fox had only 160mm and i wasnt in the mood to spend xxxx of swiss francs on a new 180 van rc2 when i can get a marzocchi with 3 years warranty titanium spring and a much smoother "ride feeling". Yes u feel a big difference! Not only due to 2mm plus.

You kinda came to the wrong place to receive a non-bias view on the voltage free ride. I have had no problem with the rear axle being lose and iv had mine a year and a half. Its the best bike iv ridden

Bman123123..... i bought a 2011 volatge fr 20 and the rear hub and axle often lossen and i have to tighten them. im looking into getting a pair of hope pro 2 evo hubs to tighten up the rear end a bit. but overall the voltage is a bloody good bike and well worth getting.

Wow.... tighten up your axles properly

yeah thats not your hubs, or frames fault dhboy. you hubs just need to be adjusted by someone who knows what theyre doing! no offense! Smile

If it's the rear axle that's coming loose (common problem) then you're not doing the pinch bolts up correctly. Ensure you've sufficiently tightened the axle itself, then do up all the pinch bolts. Now go through all the pinch bolts again and you'll find they tighten up some more. Keep iterating through until they are all tight and you should be good to go! (beware of torquing any one bolt too much though and stripping the threads.)

Get torque wrench and some thread lock. Work your way out and they shouldn't vibrate loose again.
Work out from axle, pinch, dropouts, brake, derailure etc.
Thread lock is gum that you role the thread I (light coat) that stops things vibrating loose during use and/or temperature changes. Doesn't work on plastic though.
I use is all the time on my 675, just to stop things working loose and having to go over every nut before a track day.

made a fork update. got a really nice deal, so i had to buy it Smilewhat do u think. should i change headset, handlebar and the whole frontwheel to red and the bashguard, cranks and the linkage to black?

I think red headset cups would definitely make it more dialed. As for the black linkage....well, I would say just leave it as it is. Just my 2 cents
