I believe it... those suckers are 1790fps loads too so they've got weight and velocity!!! Zombie stoppers.

Running....ew.

I have a couple of teaching buddies that like to run, one does triathlon, so he rides too which gives him a little more respect. But not much.... Triathlon: a competition to prove you're the best exerciser...

Anyway, before I started riding every day, I used to see them running and I'd pull up in my truck and offer them a ride... I don't think they got the humour. Now I guess I'll have to offer them a double on my handlebars Razz

Lol.. I think that's pure terror actually. It's not often someone captures the exact moment your life begins to flash before your eyes! Eek

I know little about guns. I do recall from physics class that depending on the speed and weight of the bullet, hitting something with a 6 lb sledgehammer will impart more energy than the impact of said bullet.

1790fps = 542 m/s
KE of 0.045 kg bullet at 542 m/s = ~6609 J

KE of 2.7 kg sledgehammer head at 5 m/s = ~34 J

Heavy-ass bullet wins!

For a 2.6g .22 LR, we have
Muzzle velocity = 320 m/s
KE = 133 J, almost as good as 4 whacks with a hammer

Bullets beat sledgehammers, assuming all the energy is transferred from the projectile to the zombie. A hunting rifle weighs about as much as a sledgehammer, so it may be possible to defeat a zombie by beating it with an unloaded rifle.

Pure terror, or pure ignorance to danger. Either or, the result will dictate the story told...

Best in door bike part ever !

Was in TO last week for biz and was lucky enough to vist North America's best indoor bike park - JoyRide 150.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHtdHxt6djY&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I have to tell you I love this place- everyone has to get there at least once. Mark, one of th co-owners is a class act and really has created a place for all types of riding.

What a great way to spend a winter or summer day

Love JoyRide 150 !

I went to Joyride in Jan for the first time. Had a blast. My 11 year old son loved it just as much as I did. could see him progressing within hours. definately brightens a gloomy winter day.

i like running. after 10 km my mind really wanders and my knees burn. so i stick to around 10 k. i like the treadmill too. i also like skipping. you can tell the style of fighter just by the way they skip. and if you can't skip, chances are you get hit a lot. and i don't like getting hit a lot.

as for riding, i ride right foot forward, but i have a bad habit when coasting of riding left pedal down. it's been the cause of more then one crash that i didn't see coming.

Tell me more about this fighting please. I could see myself enjoying this.
