paparazzi.....maybe man up?

being roughed up by Bieber would be like being attacked by a raging butterfly

CALABASAS, Calif. — Justin Bieber is wanted for questioning by Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators after a photographer complained of being roughed up by the pop star at a shopping center.

LMAO... If I was ever 'roughed up' by Justin Bieber, I would never admit to it! That's just pathetic $$ seeking razzi action there.

The joy's of home ownership, just ordered a new AC/Furnace for my place that's gonna set me back $13k... Could've built up such a sweet bike for that... shit, could've built up TWO sweet bikes for that!

Downside of living in the desert... AC stops becoming a luxury and starts becoming a necessity! Could've "patched" things up on the existing unit but, with summer here and 110 degree temps just around the corner, I'm not willing to take any chances!

Speaking of heating and cooling, I'm staring a hydronic system (in floor radiant heat) in the face for this fall's reno. Anyone have one? Good or problematic?

It's a state law that if the AC in a unit that is being rented out, the owner has 5 days to replace or repair it into working order. Mine broke our first summer here in the middle of July, 118 was the low that week, and our F-ing landlord waited until the 5th day to repair the unit. We had to move the dogs into a boarding house, then we eventually moved to a hotel when it got over 110 on the 3rd night. My top reason for wanting to move away from this state...

My dad's house has one in Montana, It's great. Your morning duties will never be the same. There's nothing like doing work after a cup of coffee with warm feet. It's a great system. When my wife and I move North again, It will be something that we have. A great feature for sure. I can ask him specific questions if you'd like. I haven't been in the house in 2 years.

I used the one that is a wire system you lay out yourself allied to a digital timer/thermometer. the wire is glued to a subfloor then tiled over. I used travertine which IMO feels a lot less cold on the feet than a normal tile or stone product maybe due to the high amount of air bubbles in the travertine BUT it can be a bit hard to put down for the layman/handyman (I've been doing high end tilework and various bathroom and other tile based reno's for about 30 years). I did that system in three rooms (two small baths, and a large laundry area which was set directly onto concrete pad) and it was amazing, really snug.

They had that setup in a cabin I rented in Mammoth awhile back and it was awesome... felt so great to wake up to a warm tile floor!

Yeah, I've always loved AZ when I'm there but it's just a bit too hot for me. Where I'm at now is a notch or two below in overall heat and it's about the limit of what I could comfortably live with. We get a couple weeks worth of days in the 100+ range and loads in the 90+ but nothing like what you have to deal with in Phoenix.

Are you talking geothermal or another system? A few people I know run the geo thermal. Once you get over the sticker shock its great! One couple we know has polished concrete floors which look great!

I just read that he might have been high on bath salts. Bath salts apparently make you go completely insane and violent and at the same time, makes you take your clothes off.

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/29/reports-miami-zombie-attacker-may-have-been-using-bath-salts/?hpt=hp_t2

the evolution of drugs is ridiculous. For instance, you can alter the active chemical species in LSD to vary the shape you see on your high. I can't believe the whole bath salt or meth craze...
Had to bring this back up. I remembered the creator of LSD, was an avid Cyclist named Hofmann. Here is his description of his first LSD trip. All good scientists would try their creations... hahaha
