I couldn't make it past 55 seconds. That was just... I don't know. Pathetic doesn't begin to describe that situation.

Same here, couldn't get through it.
When the Zombie Apocalypse starts at least we will have people to sacrifice for our own escape.

Where to begin with how f'd those two are. The thing that concerns me is that there is zero remorse, understanding of consequence, or realization that their crime affected others. These two douche bags will become habitual offenders. No doubt.

the blonde - stefanie woods, later went on to be a bad ass and kidnap a child, steal more shite, armed robbery, etc. tis a real interview
I wouldn't go quite that far... she went on to be a f*cked up teenager who walked out on a Denny's bill and was with her boyfriend when he held a man up at gunpoint but she never kidnapped a child. She was charged with kidnapping because holding someone against their will at gunpoint can be plead down to kidnapping and some firearms charges, which is what she was able to do since she wasn't the one with the gun in hand during the incident. Supposedly she's now trying to get her shit together, has quit doing drugs, has had a job for the last year and change, is attending college and has like a 3.8 GPA. She was in the news again just last month cause she missed a meeting with her probation officer, when her car broke down or some shit, and got sentenced to 15 days in jail... they called her the "cookie monster", lmao!

Personally, I blame shit parents for f*cked up kids like that... kids learn what parents and society teaches and the direction the pussy ass liberals are driving the US says rich people have money so you should deserve to have money too, doesn't matter if you work and earn it you just 'deserve' it cause others have it. No keeping score in little league, no accountability, no sense of value or what it takes to earn things in America's youth anymore. Sounds fascist but I seriously believe there should some sort of license required to have a kid... WAY too many f*cked up worthless individuals out there having kids and raising them to be even more worthless and f*cked up than they are themselves.

I agree - what about f*cked up kids with great parents, ones that are role models, kept their kids busy with sports and such, gave up things and time for themselves for the sake of their kids, only to see the kids run wild once "of age", and get in with a bad crowd, and do stupid shit. the least likely of kids/family to go that way, but it happens. there seems to be a certain expectation and ignorance with kids and an attitude where being f*cked up is ok and kinda kool

Very true... but people who are really good parents raise their kids in such a way that they are confident enough in themselves that they need not act a fool to get in with the 'cool' kids who are f*cking up. Too often parents think that giving things up to provide for their kids and driving them to soccer practice every weekend is enough but fail to actually talk to and engage with their kids and it's my belief that those are the kids who seem to have great parents but still get sucked into the f*ckup syndrome. Often times too, it seems that it strikes better off families second and third kids... they dote on the first one and it turns out great so they think the whole parenting deal is easy and go 'through the motions' but without the same attention and talking to and that's where it goes off course.

Easy to say as a single guy with no kids but I think it really comes down to talking to your kids... I think all of us older folks could write a book full of "shit my old man used to tell me" while most of the youth today are limited to "shit I heard my old man say".

I can't believe how casual, and clueless that girl is about stealing money from a 9 year old. She's got no chance of survival in the real world...

See this attitude from 11 year old kids at my sons school. I also blame parents. Funny, no remorse from kids or parents.
edit- not funny, but sad

On a different subject, how did your race go? seems you survived.lol

It went well, thanks. I ended up being part of a team as one of my friends buddies bailed. so I only had one lap instead of 4. I don't know that I'd have wanted to do four on that day. it was a really loose, really dusty day. I had a decent lap, the other guys on the team were slower than I was, so we missed the cut off for the big buckle by like 35 minutes but we got a small buckle, but we had a good time, and drank a lot of beer. the guys I was riding with weren't there for a win, they were just there for fun. And they would have been dq'd had I not rode with them. So all in all, it was a win-win. I got a steak dinner, and free beers, and a chill afternoon with much much less work than I'd anticipated. It was also a leadville 100 qualifier, so it was a pretty intense group of guys riding solo... I'm definitely not up to that, so it would have been pretty demoralizing being passed that many times...

Yeah. The world. Shitty grades weren't meant to make you feel bad - they were meant to show you where you were weak so you could work on it and get better at it. Now that everything is OK all the time the weaknesses are simply accepted as normal. Down the tubes we go.

edit: Didn't even watch the video at all. I know I won't last long watching anyway and I don't need to be angry. Anger is poison.

I've got a pedal question. Clipless pedals that is.

I've got a set of Shimano XTM770's on my bike. I've been riding clipless for well over ten years, so i feel sorta dumb asking this, but i find that despite the tightness/tension of my pedals, i find that my cleats/shoes seem to float quite a bit when locked in. The issue here is that it's hard to keep my legs pedaling with the same vertical alignment, and i think it's finally starting to take a toll on the bendy parts.

So the question is this, are the shoes/cleats supposed to float around a bit? Or should it be like they've been installed in concrete when you're clipped in? Could my cleats be warn out after 6+ years of use?

As for f'd up kids, their behaviour in life is only partially due to biology. The majority of behaviour is learned at a very young age, and is learned from people in their immediate environment. Whether that's mom + dad, mom, dad, dad+dad, mom+mom, suzy the hooker/drug dealer, whoever they are around the most is who will teach them. Plus, unhealthy home environments can lead to attachment issues which can lead to issues at a young age, and later in life. Bottom line, i agree with he who said a license should be required. We'll never rid ourselves of people like cookie monster (or worse, Luka Magnotta), but we ca try!
