hopefully this means good things for the brand. I still wish I had my 2007 rc2x 66 fork. Best fork I have ever owned.

2012 888 Rc3 Evo2 is the nicest feeling fork I've ever ridden.

Yeah, I find them a bit too flexy. Otherwise nice but a bit too flexy.

Super plush on high speed chatter.

Just picked up a new set of wheels for the road bike at the LBS...

Got 'em home and opened 'em and they were mislabeled... Really Mad

Called back down to the shop, they check all the others they have in stock... they're all mislabeled and now I have to wait a week till Wednesday for them to get the right wheels in stock. f*ckin' instant gratification tease.

Probably not. It means you'll have some really great forks and some really shitty ones. It's too bad that the easiest way to save money is to outsource to these shit box mills.

I have a friend who rode the Marzzochi 888 Evo and his comments was that the fork tended to dive in the corners compared to his boxxer, that stayed higher the travel they were extremely plush but not seen as a race fork.

Adjustments adjustments... Those mustn't have been tuned right then... I'm over 250lb in gear and had no troubles but I run the stiff spring and keep the volume adjust fairly high.

I have carbon tubbies already... some 46mm Reynolds. Not quite aero enough for me though so I wanted something deeper. The Easton's are 56mm and only about 200g heavier than the Reynolds which should work out to a rough draw once tires are mounted up since tub's are heavier than clincher tires. Going with carbon clinchers to see if they're safe and reliable. If so, I'm done with tubulars. Too much of a pain in the ass dealing with the glue. Actually gluing a tire on isn't so bad but cleaning the old glue and dealing with flats is just a huge pain in the ass comparitively speaking.

My '06 R2C2 888 was the best I've ridden. Now that I've finally got my firm spring for my RC3 EVO V.2 will see if it stacks up. Has been riding really well so far, just under sprung and over tuned to compensate.

How heavy are you? I just have the med spring in mine and its damnear too stiff. I'm 210 w/o gear.
