My lbs sells schwalbes as do Crc, and I do prefer matching brands

I'm switching to 10spd on my Nukeproof mega and wondered which cassettes and chains were good? I've been looking at a kmc x10 sl and a shimano slx 11-36 cassette.

That is exactly what I have in my Marley. Both are high quality.

Hey guys,

I was hoping to replace the hub on my 2009 specialized demo 1 with a Hope Pro 2 Evo. I found that my demo takes a 10X135 mm hub. Does anyone know if this hub will fit my bike? It doesn't say if it is 135 or not?

Would a Shimano Saint M820 be a better option than the Hope Pro 2 Evo? And, the Saint names are slightly confusing, is the M820 just newer than the M815, or are there other differences?

Thanks,

Riley

The hope hub you linked woud be perfect and I would definitely take the hope over the shimano

I guess I'll answer the other question too. The m15 is second generation saint and m820 is third. I don't know what improvements they made but that should give you a good idea

If your bike is being used in conditions where there is water and a lot of dirt then shimano hubs just aren't worth getting as it's constant maintenance. With the hope you'll just be fitting new bearings every once in a while.

Shimano hubs are a total waste of money for whatever conditions you ride in. Non sealed bearings in a high end hub is a total joke.

All this. Sealed hubs everyday. Even some cheap hubs have sealed bearings.

Apologies if this isn't on topic, but was just wondering how much it'd cost to ship a bike from the US to the UK? A Tracer 275 to be specific..

I'd give you my postal code to do a check on what it would cost from here, but I can't say what it'll cost from America. Sorry.

Just use Google to find a zipcode for the area it will be coming from. Once you have that, most postal services allow you to estimate shipping costs.

It was 75usd to ship domestic when I shipped out my dj frame a few years ago. International rates would have been 175, and they go by size of the package. Remove the shock hardware and fold the frame, you'll save a lot of money.

But go ahead and take dmanj's advice is you are quoting for a buyer.

Main problem is import tax, my mate got hit with £110 charge on a £350 frame from cali, think shipping was only £50 - £60
