Here's a question...I have a set of OE Domain 302's on my Big Hit with only rebound adjustment. Is it possible to put in some internals from the 318 that would give me some compression adjustment. Is it possible? Has anyone tried it?
yup its possible, Just go to your LBS and check the small parts catalouge for sram. It will be anywhere from 100-175, judging by how much of a totem damper is (200$).
Motion control compression cartridge installed. The cartridge and adjuster knob cost about 85 quid and the forks are transformed. According to RS you can also fit a Mission control cartridge if you want more adjustment but for me that was a bit overkill. Wouldn't think twice about doing it.
I heard that the mission control wont fit in the domain. I have a 318 and would be interested in putting in mission control. Where did you get the info on putting the mission control in the domain?

it will fit with some modification....
correct me if im wrong but the mission control is longer then the motion, and requires less or more oil then the rebound cartridge shootes up. those are the only two issues.. oil flow to the dampner ( to much or to little and your invested money is gone to shit ) and the lenght of the dampner itsself, so when you bottom you wont break it.
As far as I was aware the MiCo damper from the Lyrik will NOT fit into the Domain. The Lyrik stanchion internal diameter is slightly larger due to being aluminum vs the steel of the Domain.
