This, paired with your tagline, made me chuckle.

Just so you guys know, a fork becomes stiffer when you lower it because it's a shorter lever arm, not because there's more stanchion overlap, the bushings are the stanchions contact points with the lowers and they're fixed in the lowers and lowering the fork does not increase the distance between them.

i find that this one has better spec: http://www.specialized.com/si/sl/bikes/dirtparkstreet/p.series/p26pro
and it also costs 900€ if you pay with cash...

that's up for debate. The YT has a better brake, mtb cranks, which are probably significantly lighter than the cromo cranks the Spec. the YT only weighs 11.2kg, which is pretty damn light for a complete if you ask me.

Go for the YT, its very light and amazing spec for the price, i think with postage and everything its around £760 so under your 800 budget Big Grin

If you can find one of those, or even a 2012 on sale, it's also awesome.

Why didn't chain reaction cycles mark my knee pads as a gift ??? I had to pay f*cking taxes and customs, f*cking 26$, which is more than half of the price for kneepads.. now they are more expencive than the ones I had in my town (which are much better)...
thats what you get for not supporting your lbs.
