You can also use a Blackspire or a Middleburn inner ring, which me and my friend are using currently. They're easily available from CRC. They go from 22 tooth to I think 28

Edit: They are both 3/32, but you can slap on a 3/32 driver and use a 3/32 chain (lighter...) or just use a 1/8 driver and a 1/8 chain (what I have). As long as you don't try to use a 3/32 chain on a 1/8 ring you're golden.

Well it wasn't my first choice in frames but it was cheep so i thought why not in my opinion it rides quite nicely on both dirt and street

Thanks for the explanation, really helpful.
I'm just curious how that bike as a race face atlas crank and he uses a 28T middle chainring...
I just wanted a middle one for aesthetics.

Forgot I had this pic shredding the kitchen floor on my phone....

So my wife gave me the frame for xmas 2010 along with the deity stem thats on there. The handle bars and wheels are from my bighit since she also gave me outlaws and dirty30s that same xmas. I love xmas.

The only parts I bought are the shadow con. seat, alius post, deity grips,demolition pc pedals which will probably never get ridden, and the white stroker trail I am putting on this weekend

@88ph88
Blackspire ,salsa sel them now but in 3/32 . Dartmoor no longer list them for the taboo . Yo can use a 3/32 with no issues on a 1/8 chain and rear cog .

But it's an inner chainring right?
I want to use it with a shimano slx crank, preferentially the middle one...
Yeah the black spire and salsa run the middle
