Yea, that's pretty much all it is doin. When I opened mine up they had nothing there except dried old grease. No lube really!

I've had my 2010 Boxxer Race rebuilt under warranty 3 or 4 times, would you guys still reccomend this procedure?

wow thanks for posting this buddy, I never would have suspected this on my boxxer since it has a total of 0 rides on it. Is there any way of telling roughly how much oil is in it without any disassembley?

I am currently running a mix of fluids in mine jbabst. It works fine, just be sure to do the math and know roughly how much of each you need to get whatever W factor you want.
