Yeah it is good so far! Tried out most of them yesterday, it was a little too slippery but oh well. I think to carry more flow the only thing I'd change is the small jump at the very top, after the berm. If that was a biggass roller, everything would flow much better.

Maybe on Monday I'll drag my shovel and rake over there and add some more dirt to the turns and stuff.

Pete and I also took the two bridges out of the valley after the jump where the picnic bench used to be. They were absolutely useless. If they get put back in, then I'll just make an easy and simple go around route.

http://app.strava.com/rides/7875992 if you check out the map on here, you can also see there is still lots of forest left to be tamed.

yeah that jump seems to be the only one that deteriorated over the winter, we where just going to build it back up again then maybe fill in the middle a bit

yeah we will probably be out on Monday once i get back from my co-op placement so from anytime after 2 till 6 i guess

sick yeah that bridge is kinda sketchy when you bomb down that hill, what did you do with the bridge? we could probably use it to help build something somewhere, like another jump or berm

My bike's in ride-able shape again and I'm currently jobless, so I'm splitting my time between riding/building in the Copeland and the Boy Scout trails. Lower Harpy has a new section before the creek crossing. Upper Harpy now cuts right uphill after the two small log jumps into new trail that's going to involve some woodwork. I'm considering cutting a section of the barbed-wire fence to get into the sweet rock garden on the far side. I'm in there Thurs-Sunday afternoons.

Went out to Woodspring yesterday for the first time riding in a month. Ribs are feeling better, but DH season opens next weekend so I have a feeling most free days (at least weekends for now) will go to that.

Sounds good boonshackle. Went to Copeland this past Saturday, amazing riding back there! I'm going to try to ride out to the Holland Landing spot one night this week, depending on how tired I am after school. Perhaps Thursday or Friday.

Woodspring trails are flowing well right now, but the town has started work on the new paved pathway! Madder
Lets all pray that they don't intrude too far into the forest.

Well, I've been wanting to do it for a while and now I've started...Soon there will a couple new kilometers of cross country trail on the Woodspring trails. If all goes to plan (and it shouldn't be hard, from what I've already done), new trail will extend all the way to Bathurst and Davis.

Should be fun with a few technical sections and some good climbs. Just going to need help with riding the trail to make the soil nice and compact. Ninja

NO NO NO, your going the wrong way Chris. It ssupposed to extend to the north east corner of the forest where my new house is.

You're right next to Green Lane then? I started a trail back there last year, but it didn't really go anywhere. That'll be the next project. There is a huge sink hole back there and a nice spot for a big jump!

Sounds good for a 30 foot step up. Let me know when you ate going to build and i can see if i can make it. Yet i still gotta get my shovel from the other trails by main street.

lol I don't know about a step up. Its literally flat ground with a big sink hole and water in it.

In other news, I accidently broke my hard rake tonight.....Anyone have one they'd like to donate? Facepalm

Remind me to bring you one the next time we go for a ride. Oh yeah did you hear the blue mountain opens this may 18th? We all should go up there very soon.
