How about Sept 2,3,4

That way we get two days on both sides of mountain, and if you buy a 2012 pass for $149 you can use it that week!!

Drove down Bathurst last night, there's a sign posted at the entrance on Bathurst stating "Building of Structures Forbidden blah blah blah" or something like that now.

hey guys im new to the area and would like to go trail riding and hit some jumps how do i get to this woodspring trails and also someone told me about a place called the devils elbow anyone know where that is? thanks guys

The Woodspring trails are just off of Woodspring Ave in Newmarket. Located sort of behind the mall and Future Shop area.

To get to the trails, head to the park on Woodspring Ave. You can either take the paved path that enters the forest from the park, which will lead to some single track. Or the better entrance is to head South West down Woodspring. When you get to the bottom of the hill, just after the construction, there is a bridge and if you look down in the ditch you will see the entrance.

If you want a tour of the place, just leave a message!

In other news, I too saw that sign out on Bathurst. Its probably to stop people dumping their garbage their. Doesn't look like anything has been touched back there.

Out in the Holland Landing the bridge to gain entrance to the DH spot has been washed away and it is a mud pit.

No doubt its washed out, we haven't necessarily had frequent rain, but when it does, it pours. Weather network is calling for 35-45mm of rain tomorrow. Unfortunately I haven't been out on any bike for a couple weeks, nursing a lower abdominal strain. Been a year of injuries for me, only been out DH twice. Frown

Wow, that sucks, broken ribs, an ab strain... A season packed with injuries.

Getting old sure sucks the life out of ya sometimes! Smile

Yo Gord. I work tomorrow until 5:30, but then if it isn't raining I'm probably going to ride out to Anchor Park in Holland Landing from my house. Let me know if you want to come!
