The FL size die undersizes the neck, when pulling the expander ball back through the under sized neck it takes a huge amount of force, not only that, to get the handle all the way down and cammed over a huge amount of force is required compared to other dies I have used in the past. I'll be sticking with Redding dies for my 300 WM and the girlfriends 30-06

I am pretty satisfied with my Hornady dies. You do need to lube the inside of the neck of the cartridge a bit, if you dont the expander ball will pull the neck on the way back and the brass will be hard or impossible to chamber because of it. It will also be hard/next to impossible to get the brass out of the dies on the way back, when calibrating.
Since I realized this and lubed the cases a little bit more liberally, Ive had 0 problems.
I guess I have loaded about 1000 rounds now, with the Hornady dies.

I've used 3 different types of lube (Hornady, Redding wax and lee) as well as trying graphite powder inside the neck with no luck... I'm really disappointed, i had high hopes for hornady reloading products.

Anyone have any recommendations for an AR trigger under $200 for long range target shooting? I know the obvious ones like Timney, I'm just curious if there are any new players I should be aware of.

Here is my contribution to the thread, my Marlin 336.

And out shooting bottles in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, by where Burning Man is.

Only have 59 rounds through it so far, but it's a lot of fun to shoot. I plan on getting a Williams receiver peep sight and a new trigger, along with a Lee Classic loader to get into reloading. Down the road will get some better wood, leather sling, and a bellied lever.

Nice! I like leverguns. I had a nice Uberti made Winchester 1873 in 44-40 and it was alot of fun.
When the wallet alows it, I would like a 45-70 lever action rifle. Who knows when that day will come.

Some day I hope to acquire one of these-

A 45-70 would be so dang sweet, and so would a Henry rifle. One of my favorite guns I've ever shot was a Henry replica in .45 with a stainless octoganal barrel.

I think my next purchase (after I finish my AR-15 pistol) will be a plain old Glock 17, so I can get one of these:

The ALG 6 Second Mount allows you to mount an Aimpoint T1 (or similar) and a light/laser on a G17, 17L, or 34 without having to mill the slide. It also allows the red dot to stay stationary while the slide cycles, unlike a machined and mounted optic.

These are going to be coming to market this summer for AR's, They have been producing Crossbow triggers for years. I have a trigger for my 700 on the way so I will let you know how it stacks up to the timney that is installed in it currently. The price is right on all of these units so i hope they perform!

Ironic posts are sometimes hard to detect on a web forum.
Surely, there is nothing much in that picture that is worth dreaming about?

Some people dream small. I know I wish I did.

This is not an ironic statement.
