Hey, i have a 2007 Specialized Demo 8 II frame and just notice i put a crack stright down the middle of the alloy linkage peice off the frame. I am woundering if this is common with the 2007 Demo or all Demo's and how much they cost to replace i know im not the origonal owner of the bike so there not going to cover anything i also am woundering if it should be strong enough right now since its not to bad to ride sea otter with since they probly couldnt get me one in like 5 days so if anyone has any info or anything that can help please let me know. Here is a picture its hard to see sorry i dont own a verry good camera but its right down the middle of the weld so look kinda hard and you can see at. also it isnt al the way around just on the top and then kind of around the the side a little bit but it is for sure a crack.
