After 3 years of rigorous testing & many prototypes later, NS Bikes is ready to release the long awaited NS Soda. It will come in two different versions; the Soda FR & the Soda Slope. Available as frame only or complete bikes, the NS Soda will satisfy anyone from dirt jumping to riding slopestyle and even big mountain freeriding!

SODA FR

Final prototypes of our 2012 NS Bikes Soda frames have finally arrived. Those of you who came to XV Lech Bike Festival in Szklarska Poreba Poland have a chance to see these beauties live.
A truly adjustable, do-it-all full suspension bike for new school riders. The short chainstay setting & 150mm travel in the front / rear will be perfect for slopestyle & dirt jumping. Switch the travel to 180mm front / rear, place the wheel in the long chainstay position and the bike transforms into a plush and stable freeride machine that will double up as a mini-DH rig. One more thing, in short travel mode with the longer chainstay setting the bike becomes a fantastic pedaling bike that can be ridden uphill all day long.

SODA SLOPE

Final prototypes of our 2012 NS Bikes Soda frames have finally arrived. Those of you who came to XV Lech Bike Festival in Szklarska Poreba Poland have a chance to see these beauties live.
Radical new school slopestyle and dirt bike that can go where hardtails are just not enough. The concentric BB pivot system allows for a single speed setup for jumps or gears for freeriding.

On this side of the ocean, our Pro team rider Garrett Robertson, has been riding the prototype model since April and he's been helping a lot by giving loads of feedback to NS Bikes to make the production model as perfect as it can get.

2011 NS Slopestyle prototype

''I have been riding my prototype NS Soda for the entire summer now and I have had plenty of time to abuse it on every type of terrain. From skatepark and street to downhill and freeride, it has seen a lot of different types of terrain this summer and handles them all very well. However, were the soda really shines is, of course, on its intended environment, you guessed it, slopestyle. What impressed me most was how easily I could switch from my majesty to the soda. The geometry and ride is so similar the transition is effortless, I've never felt so confident doing my hardest tricks on a full suspension bike. Its not easy to build a bike that has the all the benefits and maneuverability of today's nimble dirtjump hardtails mixed with the ability to handle big freeride jumps and drops. Luckily NS has done the hard part for us and created the soda, now all you have to do is enjoy it!'' -Garrett Robertson

does anyone else think it looks identical to the new transition doubles

Not the slope, look at it's pivot. The FR is more of a Bottlerocket BUT WAIT IT'S NOT.

I for one think that Concentric BB looks a little different than the pivot on the Double.. And seeing as the FR model is 150-180mm travel, its a totally different bike.

the slope is like a double on steroids, i would like to see how it rides compared to my double

 It's like a cross between a double and a tr250.

Other similar frames to consider: 24 flextoy, transition double, commencal absolute sx. and there is probably more

In my opinion...this beats the shine and double Big Grin
