Do not really understand why Andreu took home the win. The Reynolds-run was just so sick with the touble tailwhip over the long distanceright after his double flip where Lacondeguy 'only' went for the flatspin 360 over the shorter distance...
i thought thomas genon got robbed, he had a solid run, including tailwhip to tuck, straight into a bar to whip on the next jump, and he trucked off the boner log, and stomped a clean flair at the bottom.
Gutted for Sam Reynolds - Both his and Andreu's runs were amazing, but I think he should of took the win - Massive double flip straight into double tailwhip on the next jump?! Crazy!
What did you expect - Redbull event, Redbull rider won it with a 2nd place run yet a Monster Energy rider does the best run and comes second. Sorry to sound like it's a set up but come on, we were all thinking it...
pretty sure it's because there was finally nothing to whine about. The other guy who usually has allot to say about shitty courses built this one.. funny how the whiners seem to have there shit together the most.. not to mention all you hypocrites are always whinging about the whiner's??? whats that about...
i have to agree with: leon-forfar.... i've seen and known Thomas Genon for a while now, and for his age...WoW such a clean and stylish rider!! he had to be on the podium... sorry to say but lacondeguy has a MX style...its to "over the top" and totally not stylish, the word power is more in place...and i dont like his cocky-macho attitude... because he bailed more runs, the top 3 should of be of 2brits and 1belgian guy... . 1 more thing: I stil like "tha claw" even with his bad result. :-)
Really good coverage. repeated instead of skipping forward. Andreu is my fave but, even I thought Sam Reynolds run was more mind blowing. Never seen that trick combo back to back even in bmx (though I don't watch much 20 inch). In retrospect Lacondeguy's double was way cleaner and he tricked and styled the rest of his run better. I was too blown away to notice what else Sam did. I have to watch that shit again. Rad course Claw.
Sam Reynolds should have won the event, he got robbed, I also think Thomas Genon should have took 3rd place with his run that included some pretty dope combos, neither Pilgrims or Anthony's run was that good especially when Anthony was riding the small line, one trick shouldn't make or break a run.
MAJOR PROPS to the Claw for building a super rad course
Actually it is an advantage - small athletes spin faster than tall athletes - that's one of the reasons gymnasts and divers are shorter than average.
Get a short thick piece of lumber and hold it by one end and see how much easier it flips than a longer piece of lumber of the same weight.
Sit on an office chair and spin on it. While spinning, stick your legs and arms out - you will slow down. Tuck your legs in and fold your arms and you will speed up.
Funny to hear about the tight pant comments. Who cares people, keep your comments to yourself cause if you take a look around almost every pro rider rides in skinnies.
hmmm let me guess what Sam reynolds will do at crankworx... Backflip tuck no-hander ..... again and again... every picture at every contest with him is the same trick. Its rad, but eventually it stops winning contests. "just saying...
Its too bad Casey groves and Cam McCaul didnt get to ride,
would have like to see a front flip off the step down or boner log...
All in all, really cool contest, nice format and awesome riders
You're really dumb. Its pilgrim that does flip no handers, but Casey doesn't front flip stuff and the last time McCaul frontflipped a drop or step down, he broke his femur. Its Anthony Messere or Justin wyper doing the front flips on the drops and step downs. Or cam zink even. Get your facts straight
complete replay for ya
