It will not be friday in Australia. Australia is close to the earliest time zones. so it will Be saturday night I believe. And also for those of you who don't know what those abbreviations mean I'm pretty sure this is what they are but don't hold me to it: Pacific Daylight Time Eastern Daylight Time Greenwich Mean Time which is a time zone standard located in Greenwich, London United Kingdom Central European Time Then that incorrect Australia time
On Sat because the WC XC ended - so no XC race on Sat - so they moved the DH to Sat. It's all good. And for the life of me - I say World Champs should ALWAYS be at the end of the WC season - not before it's ended.
Hm, when you actually think about it, spatial time zones would be in 3D. You're probably better off here man lol. Just learn the acronyms (you too Pinkbike!!)
About how long do these races last? This is gonna be my first time watching an entire race. I'm getting up at 8 in the morning to watch it live but I gotta leave at 10. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
It's pretty long to be fair. Women are first and that's about 40min worth, then the men takes a good 2+ hours from there. You wouldn't miss all too much - plus there's a replay available straight after.
Thanks PB for putting the winner on the home page! Can you not put 'results inside' for those who couldn't watch it live and not want the results ruined?
interesting to see that flat handlebars are kind of disappearing at least on hill's and macdonald's bike makes me wonder how slack a bike really has to be - anyway stevie for the win on this west coast trail! ups wrong page, whatever who cares
pity you don't learn that worldly stuff in school... (believe me, no offence... my buddies in CA or OR or CO ... would say the same thing you did.... ).
Greenwich mean time is the standard 00.00 upon which other times are based. During summer as you know we move our clocks forward 1 hour, to British summer time 01.00. During winter we are at GMT
