Racing action got underway for the second stop of the Eastern States Cup and USA Cycling ProGRT Tour yesterday at Mountain Creek Bike Park. Specialized's Aaron Gwin was looking in top form yesterday as he put down the fastest time of the day. He was joined in the top 10 by teammate Mitch Ropelato, Trek World Racing's George Brannigan and Brook MacDonald, and 2013 UCI Junior World Champion Richie Rude. For the Juniors, North Carolina's Luca Shaw was looking in World Cup form with a winning time that would have put him in 2nd overall. Racing continues today and live results can be followed online here.
