Slideshows will be handed in by the end of the day Tuesday, August 11. Then on Wednesday, August 12, a massive crowd will experience Deep Summer in Whistler.
The competitors will work in the Whistler Valley and
Whistler Mountain Bike Park, competing for Best in Show, a $3500 award judged by the Deep Summer panel, and the Viewer's Choice Award, worth an additional $3500 and bestowed on the photographer who wins the audience and online voting.
Each photographer will be required to shoot three of the Whistler Bike Park's iconic shot locations, forcing photographers to dig deep into the creative well to find a unique twist on old standbys. Prospective competitors can find a little inspiration from the winners of previous years:
Ale Di Lullo 2014,
Nicholas Teichrob 2013,
Rueben Krabbe 2012,
Robin O'Neill 2011.
The Deep Summer Photo Challenge will take place under the stars at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Priority seating near the giant HD screens is available for a $5 ticket and the area beyond the ticketed seating is free.

...That are actually tallented enough to compete with the above photographers?
If there are any good female photographers then they will be picked. If not then it is f*cking stupid to think that just because some one is a women then they should be picked so that a box is ticked.
The point could be made that there are no black photographers chosen #RACISM!!! toughen the f*ck up.
To any women reading this it isnt because you are a women you didnt get picked, its because you are not good enough! The world doesnt hate you because your a women now go on with your life knowing that
