The last night before the finals was a bunny hop contest and guess who won...of course Martin Soderstrom.

In the final run Thomas was pedaling to the last jump to go that high. Everyone one else slowed down a bit.
Wonderful photoset! I think shooting through the flowers was a cool idea (and I am sure you have tons of those shots), but 6-7 photos in the final set is just too many for that particular tactic IMO, the subjects are too obscured - cool for a one off, but not in 30% of your set. I love the one foot can/whip from Martin Soderstrom where it looks like he is still on the start hill, but actually in mid air. His hop is amazing - putting the back wheel next to his thigh is so weird! All the shots that Sam Pilgrim is in are freaking AWESOME! Love the second to last one that is all washed out, but the last photo is way too washed out, the only thing clear is the grass. Was the shot taken to celebrate Thomas' win and show his face as an up and coming champion or to show how nice that grass was?
