Hey gang, we have a bunch of GT's in there because we had some mic/audio issues with most of the varied brand bike-checks we did and these were the only ones that had good audio. (We lost some great ones with a solid mix of bikes that were informative and funny too!! Doh!!) Will try harder next time!!
Why is Martin Maes so unreasonable and uses aluminium rims while he could go for carbon Bravos? It's not that carbon rims crack way more often than they should and if you wouldn't get a life time warranty you'd never pay so much. Ehh... no no I am biased, don't listen to me. I didn't like my carbon rims at all and then I got a bit angry when ENVE rep stuffed me with bullshit in Val Di Sole.
So not only did they empty your wallet, they tortured you and gave you Campylobacter as well? I can see that putting you off carbon rims jobs for life.
@richierocket: that their rims are not too stiif and they are compliant thanks to the shape of the section. He then started saying everything that I could read myself on the website. More compliant than a diamond, that's for sure. I wanted to ask about failures that I know of, but I chickened out and he was a nice guy, preparing to have a good time with friends in the evening. I said something in the lines of how many busted alu rims does he reckon come per one busted carbon rim but he looked at me in a suspecting manner and said, probably a lot.
@WAKIdesigns: My carbon Nox am have been bomb proof going on season three with only minor spoke tension servicing once a season...Not to mention the less rotational mass is nice on the long sessions.
