Winter has been pretty lame in the Pacific Northwest, with little snow in the mountains and lots of rain in the lowlands, riding trails is not always ideal. Lucky for these guys, Joe Prisal, mastermind and entrepreneur opened up his dream, The Burlington Bike & Action Sports Complex. On one rainy Thursday, Dylan, Jay, Steven and Cole head out to the park and get a killer after hours session.
Guys like Joe who run these places must do it for love, because it would take a heap of time and effort, plus cost a lot to set up and run - large warehouse, expensive machinery, hundreds of tonnes of screed dirt, hundreds of fluro lights to power, insurance, etc.), and looking at their web page, they aren't charging that much either. Respect!
No doubt! Ive been able to ride a couple times through Nov and Dec and once on new years day but other than that getting the odd foot of fresh snow doesn't help... Gotta wait for the fatbikers/hikers to pack my trail for me lol. I loved riding in the Victoria winters, you never get too hot and drifting in the mud is tons of fun just means your cleaning your bike way more frequently.
next time try color correcting to make sure all shot's color matches, it will make the edit flow a lot better
Sweet edit!!
