AGM Presents: A movie about travelling, riding and good times
Nov 25, 2009
What to do when you have a tight group of friends/riders that eat, sleep and breath freeride, and the riding season is only a few months long? Simple: You make sure that you have as much fun as possible during the season, and make sure the lifestyle continues during the off-season as well.
Some define freeriding as a sub-category of biking. We have our own funky crew of around 10 passionate riders that instead define it as a lifestyle. It's all the new people you meet. It's all the new and exciting places you get to see. It's about the road-trips you make. It's about the nature you get to explore. It's about the rush you get when you take your bike down a trail or to a local spot. It's about the cinematography. It's about the photography. All this. Combined.

With this mixed crew from Finland, aptly dubbed as "AGM", we set out to make a movie about all that we define as freeride. Our rider crew consists of talents from both extremes; some have been playing with bikes for over 15 years and for some it's their first season into freeriding. This diversity and the noticeable progression mixed with constantly exceeding themselves on the trails makes it all the more fun. Earlier years were mainly spent photographing. We did some filming and "a season recap" about the 2008 season, but that was all filmed with hand held SD quality equipment and little planning. That was the spark though, so this year things got a little more professional. We got some HD-equipment; we manufactured our own camera dolly and wire cam systems for the 2009 season. We had a 0-budget, but lots of ideas and were eager to test them out. When we began the season and were filming the first wire cam test runs, some people (bikers and non-bikers) considered it to be mentally insane to spend an entire weekend rigging wires on a local hill to get a few secs of video or a few stills. For us, this is all part of the lifestyle - you don't have to be riding all the time to enjoy it.
The 2009 season was awesome, we went on great road-trips to many cool local and international riding spots and bike parks. We had some good parties on the road. We made new friends along the way. We got some great footage. We had an awesome time, and we can't wait for the next season. One recent addition to the group described the lifestyle well, a true story:
![]() | I heard such good stories about all the trips you've made that I sold my house and bought a bike. |
Oh yeah, the name of the movie you ask?
All We Do.
During this off-season, check out what we have come up with during 2009. Enjoy the ride.

this is what biking is all about, cant wait to see the full movie
really well filmed, really enjoyed it.
trying to give constructive criticism, might want to consider using music that isn't already from popular films, and dont get me wrong on this i thought the crashes were great, but if you want to make a more serious video, you need to find some better riders.

I liked it.... but to be honest it was just a pile of riders in full body armour fallin, it needs some more bigger stuff and faster stuff
Go out and ride better and film it all spending hours and hours of time setting up a single shot all for the love yourself then! Videos aren't all about showcasing riding, you make one because you want to and you have fun doing it! A painter doesn't only paint fast bicycles...
The song in the second video is 'Ghost Town' by 'Shiny Toy Guns' from their second album 'Season Of Poison'.

If you remember Barel's segment from NWD8, then that track was by the same band.

do i remember barel's segment? must have watched that a million times, starts with one is probably my favourite song ever
I'm sorry but the riding in this teaser is pretty average. Looks like you guys had fun traveling and that you had some great ideas about how to edit and film, but it looks like you dudes need to stay on your bikes a bit more often...

wow, i love how most of you guys can only insult them! Hah, you dont remember back in the day when we were just starting out?? I think it looks awesome. It shows the begining of something amazing! Keep riding, keep practising and above all keep filming and having fun! Top knotch guys! I'd pay to see this film!
Ride and be Free

I bet that these guys are better riders than most of the people on Pinkbike anyways. This is what riding is all about. Gets me pumped to go ride, because the riding is doable. Makes me want to travel too. Inspiring film. Maybe lay off the no-footers though.
yeh i totally agree, every one has to start somewhere and theres always gunna be sketchy moments watever happens and i remember when i started out a year ago , there were a lot of crashes! but nice vid guys reli gd stuff keep it going !
dualsuspensiondave is totaly right. Most of pinkbikes users haven´t even seen real bikes. In my opinion these kind of "small" films are way better than nwd´s, earthed´s and stuff like that.
Nice article, great pics and entertaining trailers. Just had to laugh at the ending of the latter one
"Joo eiköhän se ollu siinä"
Sometimes it's just better to call it a day, good work!!

im excited to see this!!! ... i ride hard, i do big stunts, i do bits and peices of video... i couldn't do half the cinimatography (spelling)? ... and to be honest, i couldn't fall that gracefulely!!.... stoked bro's.. good work!!
It's great to see some new aspects from some thoroughly filmed and ridden local trails! The enjoyment of riding is almost touchable. Good work! Tsemppiä vaan teille, hyvä meininki!
It's always a good thing when a video makes you laugh and wanna go riding! It's not about the level of the riding, but lovin what you do. To get up and try again! Oispa meilläkin yhtä hianot vermeet ja intoa kuvata..
