In early 2013, Allriders Pro, consisting of Pau Reixachs and Xavi Cabau, will release a series of episodes documenting their new way of approaching all mountain riding. The series consists of four internet episodes split into two parts, each about four minutes long, plus two television episodes, each 20 minutes long. The episodes focus on trying to explore the potential of all mountain riding.

Take a look at the first promotional video:

The episodes will bring Allriders Pro and their filming crew to four different and unique landscapes. Two of them, RedLands and BlueLands near Barcelona, are what Pau and Cabau consider home soil. They have built unique stunts and used creative trail building trying to link as many natural features as possible.

Allriders Pro linking successive massive wallrides in his own fetiche trail wich will see public light with first R.O.T.E episode

bigquotesWe are super stoked to be able to finally release this project/idea we have had in mind for a long time. We really want to show that all mountain riding has something different and unique to tell us. We've been pushing the boundaries of 'all round' mountain biking since we started organizing (and later racing) in competitions all over Europe. Now, finally everything has come together in the right moment and we are really excited to film with such a great crew and ride what we've been preparing for so long.- Pau Reixachs, pro European enduro rider and head of Allriders Agency

Hitting this long ridge for first time early in 2007 when we started filming this kind of ridding but without the modern POV and Reflex cams on the market yet it wasn t affordable to bring a quality film as we wanted.

We started hitting this long ridge for the first time early in 2007 when we began filming this kind of riding, but with modern action cameras not yet on the market it was too difficult to bring the production film further.

"Modern all mountain bikes bring you a whole new range of possibilities. For instance, you really need to pedal hard to get up and down ridge lines. These normally are not too long, so why not link as many as possible without stopping? After racing mass start DH and enduros all over Europe North America we realized this was the kind of riding we had the most fun with and we had it on our home soil, so we decided to focus our next season's resources on it instead of focusing them on travelling to race enduro. 'Lateral oscillation' or 'WallTime' will be some of the other concept we try to show. We really want the audience to feel as if they are inside the action with us. We don´t want to make videos showing "Look what I do" or huge jumps and impossible tricks. With our competition background as a pro riders riding at the limit all the time on any kind of scary terrain is how I think we really perform our best," said Pau.

Pau Reixachs pronounces like Rex-S 31 old is the spanish catalan pinner of Enduro. He had won some enduro races trough Europe last seasons and was 2nd on RedBull TrailFox as well. He also likes to show how to even win XC or DH race on the same bike but certainly what he loves the most is walltime . Xavi Cabau 22 old is the current 4X Catalonia champion and some DH wins on his back too. He s been competing enduro as well trough Europe with Pau and was Junior champion in Avalanche Trophy in Kielder UK battling with Danny Hart 2nd... His riding style dynamites too...

We are waiting for further support and resources. We have already covered the basic budget for filming and trail building, but more support will allow us to upgrade the whole production. These are free movies and will be fully displayed on the net, so we would really appreciate any kind of support; just following us on social networks is already a big help for us and the brands that make this possible. We also are running a crowd funding project for trail building in RedLands and BlueLands and everyone who donates will be able to ride at least once on these private non-public access trails.

Stay tuned, the first episode will hit Pinkbike early January 2013.

Imagine if these guys were on DH bikes how fast they would be going and what lines they would take...

skinnier the ledge = more fun the line

can't wait to see the areas they ride. some of it looks identical to out here but... more like a carnival ride, haha.

Dubstep has its place in clubs and keeping my awake while on a 6 hour drive, but I like my videos more chill. Look at many of the most popular videos on PinkBike and you'll notice that most of them are no the hard driving "Kranked" style of music, but more a relaxed tempo.

Just my opinion (and only that), but this is a sport I love for it's ability to get my adrenaline flowing and my spirits amped. Which is why I would much prefer pairing a fast downhill/all mountain film with some energetic music such as dubstep, electronica, rock, and other genres. It gets me excited about mountain biking. Chill music has it's places, but personally for me, not in many MTB videos I enjoy. There are some exceptions of course. Each video has it's own pace. But to say that dubstep doesn't BELONG in mountain bike videos, is a bit too extreme of a notion to me.

A second point is that yes, some dubstep songs are just downright obnoxious. But there are some that are quite decent and fit the feel of an action film very fashionably.

"All-mountain as it's never been seen before" .... this actually has been seen before, it's called freeride. Doesn't matter that you ride with a front derailleur with less than 180mm of suspension and dont have a fullface helmet. Let's just call it what it is boys.

Please, give us litle bit some more time and we´ll try to demonstrate you we have slightly different kind to aproach mountain bike how it´s been seen now... really this guys couldn´t hit some lines iand natural features if they don´t use light bikes and be really strong...
  • + 6
flag mph51 (Nov 25, 2012 at 14:52)
I hear you. Also, Im not trying to take away from your skills in anyway, you guys rip it. Based off the lines you pick and the variety of technical skills involved in your runs (in the preview) though I see that you're kick ass freeriders... your bikes dont define what kind of style you ride, it's your creativity in riding and diverse spectrum of terrain. I mean, you guys were riding an over-vert dirt bowl for crying out loud! You cant get much closer to what freeride means than that, not to mention I didnt see any real up hill grunt work in the preview which is a huge part of all mountain to leave out.

I love the videos and am excited to see what you guys put out, but I dont see people progressing all mountain in this video. I see guys progressing freeride with bikes that aren't typically used.

I think that we can not focus exclusively to the meaning of words. Many of the meanings of words freeride, all-mountain, xc, have become popular based marketing campaigns. In short, all-mountain can unleash all the parts of a mountain. Then, freeride, could also ride DH bike to go to buy bread haha. In short, everyone is free to classify the style or category of its productions, the film is good, unleash each viewer an idea.

I'm new to MTB so forgive me for my ignorance, but I thought this was Freeriding...? Or is there some rule that if your bike has 160mm instead of 180mm then all of a sudden you are not Freeriding, you are instead an AM rider or something? What the hell. It's all just mountain biking to me. Cool video.

Me encantaron las recorridas del bici! Vosotros so's incre'ble.
