NotBad is what happens when you take some of the world’s best mountain bike filmmakers and stick them with some of the world’s best riders for 30 days straight in Queenstown, New Zealand. The 30-minute film brings a fun vibe to mountain biking, where people don’t take themselves too seriously. At the end of the day, NotBad is about putting a smile on your face and getting stoked to go outside and ride your bike.

 it was shot in 30 days man. and look at how absolutely awesome all the footage they did get was. prime example of short but sweet.

 Amazing riding, beautifully shots, but they didn't even get a minute of footage for each day they were there.
Which is a shame for me, because it only makes the is short live up to its name.

 A minute of good quality film per day is really good. You may be underestimating the amount of work it takes to get these shots. (and how much gets cut in the editing room)

 Thank you very much for showing this. What an excellent film. Just when I kind of lost the plot on mtn bike films, thanks for making them interesting again. Having just returned from New Zealand, I'm disappointed to not have taken part in any of these kind of shenanigans. We were too busy spending two weeks getting shitkicked by every possible rugby team on the island. Which was still a great time had as well. Visit New Zealand. Second best country in the world. Kia Ora!

 Amazing Video!!!! unbelievable riding. Amazing how the sport is progressing!! New Zealand really looks like an amazing place to ride. Those Dirt Jumps were so perfectly shaped that it actually looked fake almost! Truly amazing!! Will definitely be buying this on DVD.

 some of the shaping of dirt jumps gets insane to me, why not just cement them and not have to water or take care of it anymore...........

 Because with concrete on top, the dirt will get more compressed and the concrete will crack and break away. Plus digging jumps and adjusting to the variables of riding dirt jumps is what makes them so much fun!

 My apologies! Us Australian's are light hearted, keep that in mind! We just accidentally come across aggressive sometimes. The reason why we like to put so much effort into the appearance of dirt jumps isn't really justified, it just has to be perfect you know? I guess trail builders are a bit 'Obsessive Compulsive'!

Sic sorta, not bad, bit too much DJ for me, like to see more Brook, boys on Rude Rock, coulda done with some 7mile, these boys woulda shreded that shit, Skippers, Jardys, bit of Nevis, coulda gone up into Roaring Meg, Mt Crieghton! back of Arrowtown (Macetown woulda been sic)

Movies need something different just too much slow mo hash of same stuff, why K struggle with too much DJ yeah its sic bit ya just get used to it, see one seen it all sorta for me, never get sick of DH even Shandro rocks for me lol, Anthill boys too short always have been just get a taste and its over, get back to the NWD style movie lengths im not paying for a half our segment and I used to enjoy the extras more than the actual movies, I miss Freecaster just because it was action no fancy pants shooting, just does not do it for me so much, I watch DVDs for riding not cinematography, why I struggled with life cycles! just so much of NZed even round Qtown and Central O not shown!

 Just not as good as other movies out there.... was lacking something for me. Just not stoked to ride afterwards. Some sweet editing and riding, liked the first segment but then it just was... well.... notbad but not great either. Sorry guys, I love Anthill and their work, there was obviously a huge amount of effort put into this, but seemed to be too much focus on the guys messing around. I know they do this with the likes of Art of Flight etc, but that works, this seemed to lack something. Great first segment though, was so stoked watching that, thought this is going to be epic and then kind of petered out.... Frown Probably just me being an old fart!! Smile

 The "movie" was great. Extremely well edited... but honestly, I found the short unedited clips at the end more entertaining. The main part was so well edited it may have taken away from the awesomeness of the riding!

 So, so awesome. Really grabbed the whole vibe of mountain biking and just hanging out as a bunch of mates doing what we all love no matter the discipline. I wish it were longer, but then again I could say that about many films. I'd love to see more behind the scenes stuff though, the Trek C3 team look like they have the absolutely best time hanging out together and riding. Wish I was part of that group!

 this was seriously one of the best movies i've ever seen not just sports but movies in general you really did an amazing job anthill films thanks for that. guess i'll buy the movie now since it's really worth it's money. also the whole trek team is on antother level of riding. they are all so good. but semenuk is still a big standout in my opinion, he is just super dialed and smooth and still bangs the hardest tricks, i'm really lacking of words to describe his riding style but mountainbiking can be really thankful for this one of a kind rider

 Awesome short film. I definitely commend the Anthill crew for getting pretty much every style of riding in a relatively short movie, but I wish they would focus more on trail riding and less on DJ. Some of those jump lines were incredible, but that stuff just doesn't get me going the way that fist insanely quick DH scene did. And the enduro scene was something I haven't seen in a video like this for a while... Reminds me of some of their first films as the Collective. If their next video is all about hitting the trail I'll definitely buy a copy.

 It was shot in New Zealand... Relative to California, extremely south west. South of the Equator, and so far west of California, it is actually on the other side of the International Date Line.
