BOS is back in DH!

BOS ENGINEERING, the company that made Nicolas Vouilloz's bikes when he created his own team, is back on the DH scene.

Bos was created in 1999 by Olivier Bossard, the guy who designed the famous Sunn Radical Plus, which has been titled many times (Gachet, Chausson, Vouilloz, Gracia, Barel, Pascal where all crowned at least one time with this bike). At Sunn, Olivier designed all the bikes: frame, fork, rear shock, and many other parts. The factory Radical Plus used a lot of special parts and were pure factory bikes. In 99, Olivier created Bos Engineering and kept working with Nicolas Vouilloz for three years more (and two world titles). But the company mainly grew in motor sports. Today Bos is the official supplier of Mitsubishi factory teams in Rallye Raid (3 Rally Dakar victories) and WRC, but also Subaru WRC (new for 2007), and won many Junior WRC world championships with Renault and Citroën.

Since two years, Bos is back in downhill with a damper kit for Marzocchi 888, which is really efficient. Many european riders use it (when allowed by their sponsors) : Karim Amour, Julien Camelini, Damien Mermoud, Fabien Pedemananud, and so... The same riders often used the Fox DHX 5 improvement kit made by Bos !

For 2007, Bos launches its new Rock Shox Boxxer kit, which has been developped by Karim Amour during the whole 2006 season.

But the most impressive news from Bos is that they will produce a limited edition of a new shock absorber !!!

This shock has been concieved on Q-Bikes manager Cyril Lagneau's request for factory rider Mickaël Pascal.

It's a very simple, but amazingly efficient, shock. No fake systems, no gadget, no marketing revolutionnary device... but all Bos 's experience in damping systems for hi level racing !

This shock will be 3 ways adjustable : hi and low comp, and rebound.

And Bos will produce a small quantity for demanding riders. The internal setting will always been developed specifically for each bike, and controlled on the dyno before shipping.

It's a real factory shock available for privateers !
