Take a beer and enjoy the full edit of the Bolivia trip

The final episode of our Rock Shox Experience in Bolivia. This time I will show you around the probably craziest city in the world, La Paz. If you get there by plane, you will land at 4200 meters and this will definitely take your breath away. Alone bringing your bags to your hotel room will get you out of breath, and don't even think of a quite sleep unless you are coming directly from Nepal and you are used to the lack of oxygen. Not too bad after all, there are some good places you can hang around in town and the cabs are so cheap you can go clubbing the whole night and even make it back to your hotel, if you remember the name of the place where you live...

Still, you try to remember why you are here and when the sun hits La Paz you can't NOT remind that: the city was built on steep mountains with an incredible view on Mt. Illimani. If you are a mountain biker, you need to hit the trails around there, it does not matter what you have been doing the night before. With Alistair of gravitybolivia.com as the organizer, we were quite sure we would not miss a day in the mountains, with or without hangover.

Our favorite trail is called Ima, an epic path with exposed parts and incredible parts on small ridges, narrow canyons and huge holes you need to bunny hop (or walk around) not to die. Even non-riders are quite impressed of this trail, take a look to this video broadcasted by a Japanese TV that Rob J (yes, the guy of the huge peruvian gap ) took of Rene Wildhaber 2 years ago and edited by Joe Schwartz, when we were in Bolivia the first time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7oRNlWtAZw

In NWD6 you could watch the Gracia segment that was shot on this trail.

La Paz has not only the Ima trail, we enjoyed many different rides all in a 90 minutes car drive from our hotel, I posted some photos here to show them to you. If you want to watch the full Bolivian experience just click on the video above. I'd like to say two words about it: it's not a DH or dirt jump video. As the name says, this was a mountain bike travel experience that I bet nearly all of you would like.

Thanks for reading and watching. My next trip is not going to be so exotic, it's only Canada ;-) (kidding, love that place, see you in Whistler!)

Ecxelent data, sick shots, beautiful place to ride..
