It's time to choose the best fan-made promo video for the Red Bull Rampage Signature Series, scheduled to air on December 8th at 2pm EST on NBC. It's up to you to pick the video submission that deserves the grand prize pack, which includes a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Evo mountain bike, a GoPro Hero3 camera, and a pair of Oakley sunglasses. There are 50 videos to select from, each between 15 to 30 seconds long and created by fans from content provided by Red Bull.
Go to rb.launchpad6.com to cast your vote for the best promo video before voting closes at the end of the day Friday, November 30th. Once the votes are tallied, a panel of judge from Red Bull headquarters will choose the winner from the three videos with the most votes. The judges' decisions will be based 40% on creativity and originality, 40% on the appeal and clarity of the video, and 20% on the entrant's understanding of the creative task.
The winner will be announced during the Red Bull Rampage Signature Series episode on NBC.
Was it just me or at about :24 into it and that guys head looked like the neck snapped completely off his body...his helmet is almost upside down compared to his body and he walked away....Luck boys and girls....LUCK !! I can't believe how many of these riders use no neck bracing at all ?? And when Cam flew that launcher gap and they show the sideline people...only the girl clapped ?? C'mon give it up for the guy, that is a huge launch and he landed pretty nose heavy !!
I actually thought it was just his helmet that came off, but then when he rolls round it was still on his head!! Nasty! That has got to have hurt, but also, WHY THE F&&K wasn't he wearing a neck brace?! I really don't get this obsession with being cool and not wearing armor.. So few people wore braces, and fewer still and other armor!
Hear that brother ! If they make the gear....why not use the gear ? I am from the wayyyyy old school when we dirt bike raced 30 plus years ago...there were just open faced helmets and goggles...only the pros had boots....I have had my leatt save me on a few occasions ! I watched that head roll under like 16 times in a row and I can't believe he walked away.... Ride on !!
theres a reason for it, its restricting, its a huge gamble must most of them choose the freedom to move over protection of their bodies. if it was me id duct tape two mattreses either side of me
Vote for Dylan Wineland. My bike was stolen on campus while it was locked up cutting my season short. More than anything I just want a bike to ride again. If you could vote for my vid and increase my chances of me shredding again that would be much appreciated! Thanks
I entered this contest with hopes and dreams, but once again, I won't ever win anything. I tried my best with the video and mixing an audio track with the tools I had. I build trails with Kevmo - places such as Flowtron 3000 and Crazy Ivan out at Tokul and the new goodness on Tiger Mountain. How cool is it to support guys who help us build killer places to ride? Yeah Larry - that's how it works. Redbull is doing this all as a stunt to drive traffic to their website via all this voting and getting people to promote their vids on social media. They're brilliant at this kind of thing.
