On behalf of all of us Colorado riders, can we get a state flag instead of the US flag to rock beside our screennames? That would be awesome. Video did a great job of representing the riding scene here.
Sorry guys, but this video needs to come down. Our relationship with the landlord is one built on respect and trust that we won't blow up his land with activity. The edit is sick, really well shot, unfortunately whoever showed you these trails hasn't been involved in their construction and therefore wouldn't understand their fragile existence. Thank you in advance for removing this video and keeping these trails available for the rest of us.
go read jasonvelocity message !! you probably don't understand the harm that could potentially come from videos like this . Not trying to be a d*^k but there is a reason why the regulars don't post videos .
Way to look out Andres...Im not claiming to be the only builder in my post , bit I have more trail time than most anyone. I talked to these guys while they were filming ...cool guys but Damn here it is all over pink bike. Wes
I live nowhere near Central City (or Colorado for that matter), but if these trails are indeed private, then this video should be taken down as soon as possible. Let the boys shred in peace.
Take this Video down! I have been builing these trails since 1998. Everyone is welcome to ride, but revealing its location, anyones trail location is a dick move. The trails are sick. But are very hard to maintain because a*sholes just show up, rip it ,and leave week in and week out. Now even go arounds and shortcuts prevail because people who have no buisness here are trying to ride. There are plenty of videos out there with our trails ,just dont say where they are. If your not a local that makes it even worse...its like look at these ,here they are , now go tear it up without permission. We have a long term understanding with the land owners and the town, so If your not involved in the building or maintenance, (wich you are not) then you are adding to the problem. I am one of the OGs of this place so please stop spreading the word. If you have issues with what Im telling you come see me ,Im there every weekend trying to fix what everyone who doesnt help maintain is f*cking up. I case you dont know my name is WES.
Tyler/Suspended-Productions - These trails have years of shovel time invested from hundreds of riders and exist only due to generous permission from the landowners with the explicit understanding that things remain low key. Please don't come out and enjoy our trails just to crap on them on your way out. Yes, the riding is sick and many locals and visitors (including some big names with pro film crews) have tons of footage we'd love to show, but we all understand that some momentary dick waving is not worth ruining it for everyone. Please respect a decade of dedicated shovel time and pull this video.
Sorry for the trouble guys. I was the filmer/editor and not one single person told me that these trails were private and that I should keep the location a secret. This video also has nothing to do with suspended productions. I was invited up there to film and make a quick edit and thats what I did. The tough guy up top "wes" needs to chill, the second I heard how everyone of the "locals" felt I took it down and changed the video so it the spot is unrecognizable - I didn't talk to anyone other than the guys I was with....if you saw me filming maybe you should have mentioned that small little detail. Sorry again for the headache guys, I'll keep my cameras away from your trails.
Don't think anyone will notice, but I just wanted to clarify, that is NOT a tap out sticker on my Alpinestars, I'm not a bro, and I don't drive a bro truck...
LBC represent.
I live 15 minutes away from central city and have always rode moto up there but never knew about these trails...it would be cool if some one could PM me and tell me where these are! I am willing to help with trail maintenance
Have you been to the Front Range in December? Entirely likely. The snow depth at Copper Mt. is 27" - horrible. Maybe CC is covered in snow now, but I've seen years you could easily ride in January.
Yeah man, it's private. But if you want some brief directions, you can message me. The trails are definitely for experienced riders only, though. The video does not do much justice at all for the difficulty.
