Mid week after work riding is about as good as it gets. But living in a big city can make it tough to get it done, luckily for the boys from the bikeNOW shop there is the You Yangs only a 45min drive from the city. Although these trails may not be world cup standard, they are fun to shred on a beautiful summer afternoon with good friends.

A big thanks to the guys for pushing those big bikes around the hills for me to film. LCSVisual is now departing Australia to head back to its homeland of New Zealand. We will be looking for more riders to shoot in NZ, so feel free to message us if you're a Kiwi rider.

 Sweet trails! Despite just recently buying a new bike, I still love walking into bike shops and looking at bikes. There's just something about a brand new bike that gets me drooling.

 Hahaha. Yeah it's like there just showin off with these vids of dusty trails and sun drenched sky. I've just had a glory dh, my first proper dh bike and I'm dieing to get out on it. Time to get wet and very very cold. At least the hospital should be warm. Great video any way. Bring on the trails. Have a great year riding everybody!!!

 No, honestly..... they have two DH runs and the rest of the 'hill' is pretty much ALL XC.

You know what, I'm going to just say it.....

I'm sick of the Australian Government and fellow bikers saying "At least we are doing something about it"....... This is what you are doing. You are spending 80% of the funding for trails on cross country.... and I hate it.
You won't build anything in our national parks for fear of being sued.....

How do they not understand that our ski hills would make a ten fold profit during our 10 month riding season compared to their 2 months of worlds worst snow.

A network of trails anything like any bike park in North America or Europe and people would come to Australia to ride, but instead.... everyone who buys a DH bike ends up over in BC or New Zealand......... get it together Australia, I love you but your a c*nt

 i 100% agree to that! but there is something to love about the harlf built ruff as guts aussie trails that i love aswell, but i would love to ride some propper built trails reguarly

 One dude was rockin an enduro... pretty sure thats an all mountain bike last time i checked... It's also worth noting that the canadian government doesn't fund trails... So the fact that the Australian government is doing so is impressive, regardless of what type of trail they are building. And I'd like to see any of you ride that trail on cross country bikes... We will see what you have to say after that eh.

 Its a numbers game Mate. There just aren't enough MTBers in Oz and the ones there are have moved there from road bikes or bmx racing or shitty MTBs. Aussies get most things last. But they learn from others mistakes and do it right. When did you see fully enclosed kicker jumps in North America? There is only one groomed trail here in WA and it has Ladder bridges made with bloody steel supports for f*ck sake. The kickers have concreted surrounds. My riding in the States was limited to Florida and North Carolina but I never saw anything like that. After every good rain the jumps were f*cked till the trail crews got to them.
That said Most Aussies just don't get the Freeride/Enduro/Allmountain side of the sport. They are still either XC or DH, Endorphin junkies or Adrenaline junkies. f*ck it I want both and I want to have fun not race. Also you won't get shot here for trespassing so build your own shit. If they tear it down build it better. The north shore got that way cause people didn't give up their trails.
If you build it they will come.

 An honest statement that speaks many truths. Although many people prefer the look of natural materials on the trail features there going to ride but still most people would be happy to just session a top notch trail somewhere new.

 ive been meaning to go out and hit the trails at the youyangs for ages!! alot of my mates go and race there, but i havent found time to go yet. the just fueled my need to go there and have a crack. and i must now find that bike shop in melbourne... and look at all the bike porn

 That was the wackiest vid I have ever seen on here. When I watch riding I want to see dudes ride with crazy style and go big. Not take dh rigs off three foot drops. When the terrain looks as unimpressive as that the only way to keep an audience is to have great riding and this edit had neither. What a disappointment.

 This video was shot in 3hrs between finishing work and the sun setting. Summer nights are long but not that long. These were also my first MTB videos, there will be more to come and they'll only get bigger and better.
