such a sick video, my gopro never looks this pure and cool!!

Right? Why is it all mine come out grainy when the are uploaded?
  • + 2
same with mine. i believe it's because of the settings we use to compress it... but mainly due to the lack of witchcraft. being serious tho It would be pretty cool if someone could enlighten us as to what settings we should use
  • + 1
Even after its compressed it still looks good. It's only after it gets uploaded. I'm it just YouTube or whatever we upload to allows us I only have a limited bitrate but for gopro they have a high bitrate player

Always use 1080p or higher when recording(unless you really want to get some hardcore slow mo stuff).
Do some color correction.
Remember to use Cineform for converting.
And export in 1080p.
You should be getting good results if you do all of this Smile

if your shooting for a short period run 1080p, if your out all day run it at 720 and 30fps still good quality. 1080 drains te better quick. upload your videos to youtube before you share them anywhere and just attach the link. As youtube has a lot of filters on that can improve the picure quality also checkout a lot of the guides on youtube about uploading your vids some handy hints and tips to improve them.

MTB wheel viewed through a wide angle lens. i think. Or maybe Lance Armstrong decided to take a shortcut down the mountain, i dont know.
