Events like Crankworx really do bring A LOT of people in the industry together in one spot and when they are all there, they have a hell of a good time. The whole week was filled with events like parties, XC races, Air DH races, parties, Slopestyle contests, Enduro DH races, parties, Loonie races, Premieres (more parties) and lots of old friends getting to meet and hang out. A lot of folks were in the area to do just that-hang out, see old friends and witness the sickter that is Crankworx. Here are some pictures of the week that was Crankworx:
THE PEOPLE:Matt Brooks is now riding for Rocky Mountain Bicycles, hopefully we are seeing a next generation Fro Rider here.
The announcing team of Brad and Tara kept everyone in the know all week.
THE INDUSTRY SUPPORT:Many of the companies that were on hand were there to offer technical and warranty services to racers and riders a like. I for one required the services of SRAM, Manitou and Fox Racing Shox to get a few of my bits rollings again-Thanks Dawson, Jill, Mike and James. This service was appreciated by many. It also gives the companies an idea of just what sort of abuse is going on up here in Canada!!!
Some NEW Products:This yet to be named Cove freeride bike was one of the coolest new frames that will be in full production in the coming months

Well what are all these people here to see and what is the industry here to support? There may have been events all week, but the vast majority was here to see the Slopestyle event that went down on Saturday. Here is a look at what the riders were hitting up:
