The Whistler Mountain Bike Park Trail Crew are a unique group of dedicated trail builders and riders given the ability to build dreams in order to fulfill yours. They are their own element in the perfection of what makes the Whistler Mountain Bike Park world-renowned and why thousands of riders flock here each year.

DEDICATION introduces only a few of the characters behind the shovel at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park proving their dedication of building trails and riding bikes.

Lined for another visi vest train.

The week prior to filming for DEDICATION Pete had a huge crash on Heart of Darkness and basically demoed his new Giant Glory 0. Luckily he only suffered from minor scrapes and bruises but had to toke L44 out of the rental fleet at Garbanzo Rentals. By the looks of the video it met his demands and was riding sick.
A few weeks before filming for Dedication, Pete had a huge crash on Heart of Darkness and bent the rear end of his Giant Glory 0. Luckily, L44 came in handy from the new fleet at Garbanzo Rentals.

Tools of glory.
Tools of glory...

The next Element of Perfection is TEAM WORK dropping after Crankworx Whistler.

That was Nuckin Futs!!! I over shot the hip on flow and came down on the far corner but it was so well built the landing barely felt sketch. Still... I couldn't poo for another 3 hours afterwards because I was puckering my sphincter so hard!!

Love that heel-clicker at 3:45 - so rare to see that done well on a mtn bike! These guys are sick! They're like, "meh, we build trails...oh and ya, we'll kick your ass on bikes too!"

My office job sucks!! :'(

ditto. heel clicker on DH bike = wtf
  • 1 0
I think I saw you guys out there with the RED on the section of Schleyer where you hit the rock drop then the small gap under the lift. I tried to watch the riding but I couldn't keep my eyes off the camera! 5K capabilities are pretty sexy
  • 1 0
No RED on this shoot... just the FS700
  • 1 0
Ahh gotcha! I have seen a lot more people using the FS700 recently. The 4k sensor on it is impressive! I have used the FS100 and loved it.
  • 1 0
Goddammit. All these Whistler videos just gets my palms sweaty and just wanna ride... One day. Might get a job as a nurse in the emergency clinic of the park and like what they said, "Never have to work a day in my life. Ever" Salute Good stuff.

Funny to see this up on my open browser when I just got home....from Whistler....Right after watching this we packed up our gear and headed for Whistler from Calgary to enjoy a few days of riding before the Crankworx bonanza hit town. What a wicked few days we had!

That rock gap line on Schleyer at about 2:20 is so gnarly. But it looks like nothing in this video.
  • 1 0
I have never seen Schleyer ridden like that, I used to think I rode that trail pretty well . . . now I feel a little inadequate.
  • 3 0

  • 2 0
dunno if this is eligable for VOY but it might well get my vote if so.... truly epic .
  • 1 0
Awesome vid guys. Great to see some tech stuff thrown in too, and they made it look far too easy. How many frames a year do these guys snap doing that?
  • 2 0
Do they take gap yearing interns?
  • 1 0
Intern is a magic word for any business. Most businesses are more than happy to take on free labor, but Whistler is not a cheap place to live, so you better have some savings.
  • 1 0
quite cool when you see them all riding in there work clothes, because they can!
  • 1 0

what is that "Kashima Coat'' in the rear shock of the L44?
  • 1 0
Don't mistake that for a Fox product. That's next year's Rockshox Vivid. Peter put some of his own personal bike parts on the rental bike for the shoot
  • 1 0
Is that a kashima vivid air on Petes bike?
  • 1 0
