Aaron Gwin taking over on a 29'r. The top 8 men were only milliseconds apart, which goes to show it could be anyone's race in regards to wheel size.
Jill Kintner on her way to dominating the women's class this weekend both in DH and DS. Jill has been training extremely hard over the winter and it shows. Her future is bright on the DH World Cup scene this season.
Elliot Jackson strolled out of the bed and forgot to take his slippers off. Shredding all day in comfort. Unfortunately crashing in his run may have sold him on his footwear situation.
Steve Peat only a second behind Gwin. Ol' Peaty on fire after his memorable second place to Jared Graves in yesterday's Dual Slalom.

Steven Bafus pleased the crowd up top with a nac over the jumps and seen here laying down a big ol' no footer. Racing is getting to be a pretty serious sport, but don't forget what we are all here for, which is to have a damn good time riding bikes.

Jill Kintner heading down for her second win of the weekend and wrapping up Sea Otter Classic for 2013. That's a wrap!
Paris Gore is an artist of the truest calibre! Look at these shots! He simultaneously showcases the hills of cali, the beauty of biking and the skill of riders! Awesome. Some pods here for sure.
Caradock, real question here...are they as fun? I tried one from a bike shop and couldn't bunnyhop the curb...didn't inspire confidence. They clearly roll really well and fast on flowy smooth stuff. Gwin doesn't look like he's driving a school bus here, that's good. Getting rowdy is so much the fun factor of biking for me, do you get that with 29 inch wheels?
I have a friend who raced in cat 3, and he took a hard crash in practice. I don't know if we are talking about the same kid, but he most likely broke his wrist.
I was talking about the kid who landed on his head had a seizure and then said he couldn't feel his legs. Or so I heard.... The feeling legs things is what makes me want to know how he's doing. I can't imagine Bringin a position like that
Mhm... I thought that every journalist in MTB should be puking with wheel-size debate by now. Like Steve Jones seems to in the interview with Fabien Barel. Yet there's still some nerve to report this and this guy rode this and that. You are not going to starve trolls this way by saying that wheel size was irrelevant... as you can see
