Damnit why couldn't I have grown up there, being from Saskatchewan is almost a birth defect.
  • + 2
 It's too flat!
  • + 14
I lived in Saskatchewan, then moved to the Island. I think that's the best thing to happen in my life so far. If not then it's for sure top 3.
  • + 25
I imagine getting the middle part of your last name was part of the top 2.
  • - 19
Adamlaycock, has ur c•ck been laid? I feel like that would rank, yes? Haha
  • - 2
Aw darn, sorry Vtwintips, didnt mean to take ur joke, i didnt se ur comment is all. Haha
  • + 3
My last name in Cocks ... I have heard all the jokes before and i pretty sure adam would agree
  • + 2
@sask250 - I'm from Poland and live in the flattest part of this country so stop complaining ;/ We can replace if you want Wink
  • + 3
 Ontario ain't really much better.
  • + 6
interesting to see a Fox sponsored rider with a Cane Creek DB Air shock.
  • + 7
claw on 26? end of argument then.
  • + 1
bj4x4 I hope for your sake that your first name isn't BJ, since your last name is Cocks... BJ Cocks LMAO your parents are cruel.
  • + 2
All the old guys getting into their trail riding shoots haha.
  • + 2

The claw is the reason I started riding mtb. Now every time I watch 1 of his edits there's always that kranked 5 scene flashing in my mind . Long live the claw
  • + 3
 Too true B-rock too true!!
  • + 3
Same here, I remember the first time I saw the Claw. it was a picture in the 2004 Specialized catalog, he did a 15 huck off a fallen tree on the brand new Demo 9. Before then i had no idea such riding style or bikes existed. It as the coolest thing I had ever seen. The rest is history.
  • + 3
Kranked five ,here was Claw like from another planet compared to other riders.
  • + 2
His segment in Roam on his blue SX Trail was my reason for getting into freeriding, it blew my mind. All time favorite rider who has done a lot for the awareness of FMB

For real. It was one thing to see him race DH at one of the NW Cup races (frickin' awesome at that), but this totally surprised me in a good way. Solid edit to boot!
  • + 1
One of the best edits I have seen in a long time!

The Claw is and always will be the OG of Mountain Biking
  • + 11
 Wade Simmons?
  • + 9
That's a negative my friend. The claw is certified rad but Wade deserves the title of OG if there is to be such a thing. I remember being blown away by pics of him hucking cliffs on 4 inch marz bombers and thinking it couldn't be real haha. Check out marzocchi truck gap if you've never seen it
  • + 2
John Tomac maybe...depending how far back you want to go but you're right Wade is probably the OG of freeride.
  • + 2
That wasn't a 4 in bike he jumped the truck with
  • + 1
He're a huck with Vees and vintage Rock Shox. 4in I probably generous.

In Poland is ILLEGAL to ride a national nature parks, because bikes are 'destroying the nature', and a forest guards (almost a Texas Ranger - like) will jump out from bushes before you, risking their lives, just to give you a ticket. However it's OK when thousands of pedestriants walk by and live trash all around.

It's f***in sick!

So smooth he looks like he is riding slow, until they show the POV and then I realised he was actually going bloody fast. Love a video of a good rider tackling a fast flowing section of trail or tackling some remote locations, revs my engine more than helter skelter downhill segments .... but that's just me. Would have been an awesome VOD if not for the repeated use of slow mo. Either way Berrecloth rocks!!!!
  • + 2
Slo-mo...It's so hot right now, slo-mo.
  • + 1
Only thing worse than the overuse of slo-mo in MTB vids is a mega-mo at X-Games. I want to biatch slap the next commentator who bangs on about mega-mo!!!!

Wow..never did I think that I'd see a Hornby Island video with Berrecloth. Kind of a weird feeling seeing obscure hometown trails in a video! Hornby is amazing, peaceful and serene. Any time I've been riding , I've never seen a scrap of garbage anywhere. Or anyone else riding there for that matter!
[Reply]
  • + 2
damn...i love the rain. it adds another element to this riding we do here.. you have to have experienced (and survived) a few rides to understand. i'm going to Hornby Island.
[Reply]
  • + 4
I feel guilty that I haven't really travelled abroad... But there's just so much to see in my own province!
  • + 2
why would you feel guilty. I think its worse to not discover and experience what you have in your own country first

Hornby island bike fest was and always will be legendary. Miss those days. Thanks for adding another weekend getaway to the list.
  • + 2
Second that bike fest was great racing and a great party, to bad the second overtook the first.
  • + 2
So thats what happened ? Too much party ?
Too bad.
I have old video of bikefest.
Will try and upload it for lols.
  • + 1
Too much party. People looking to party broke into houses and were pretty Doushbags, the extra party traffic was also too much for the locals and seasonal owners.
