  • + 9
He says "you know" 67 times through out the interview haha.
  • + 15
YES!!! this is the interview I wanted to see. Tippie is more funny than milner without even trying, and the questions were good.. love tippie
  • + 2
@mystyle wouldn't it be better if it was "and uh"? haha
  • - 1
Such a funny modern-day go-to word. You know,
  • + 4
i think Gee still has the Darren beat on yknws at 100/min.
does the claw look a little like messi?
  • + 1
all you said is true, but Milner wore a nicer shirt !haha !
  • + 0
been out for a while. what happened to Dan Milner?
  • + 2
@ cuban-b www.pinkbike.com/news/10-Questions-with-Darren-Berrecloth-2013.html It was interesting but Tippie's may have been better. Wink
  • + 6
Dear Claw: I'm an orphan, will you be my dad?
  • + 1
They're just different. Don't be hatin' Dan Milner
  • + 2

When the interviewer asks Claw "Where do you get the energy?" I though he was gonna reply "Redbull!" and sip the can in his hand.
  • + 2
I swear i was gonna write that same thing! too funny
  • + 1
Actually, I didnt see him take a single drink from that can. Do you think he was just trying to promote it? ...Nah.
  • + 3
 I stand corrected...
  • + 4
Kind of a boneheaded thing for me to say anyway. That was simply an awesome interview with 2 of the biggest names in Mountain Biking. You can drink whatever you want at that point.
  • + 2
I thought he was gonna ask tippie the same question.

All time favourite PB vid I think, 2 classy dudes and everything about BC that I love! Sled, shred, bike and moto!
  • + 6
Also, I really like his message of finding your sports or passions, and putting your time into that. It's true, it has kept me out of trouble over the years! And look at those jumps at the end! There is no one who works harder in this sport than The Claw, and he deserves every bit of his success. Here's to 10+ years of awesome video segments, pushing the level of contest riding, and the countless jumps and trails he's dug with his own two hands.

Dear Tippie, Can you write a jokes hand book?
  • + 5
Anyone else think Tippie might be part bear?
[Reply]
  • + 13
 I watched this for Tippe!
  • + 8
Massive props for those frontys he was trying too. You could see he had no chance of making it, but he committed and held on till the end! haha. That's why he's still a total badass.
  • + 2
I couldn't help but think I wouldn't want to be him waking up the next morning. Guy must have been hurting after all those landings! Major props.

Its awesome to see two of mountain biking's biggest legends chillin together So much respect to both of them!
[Reply]
  • + 9
There should be a contest of some sorts where the winner gets to hang out with Tippie!
[Reply]
  • + 6
FINALLY a good interview with claw, tippie is more funny than milner without even trying... whens he interviewing hunter? ( couldn't even watch the hunter interview that milner recently did )

Thanks pinkbike for remedying the crappy claw interview from last week Salute
[Reply]
  • + 8
Definetly need more of these interviews, Tippie should have his own interview segment each week.
  • + 4
 YES!! At least monthly.
[Reply]
  • + 5
Don't case the Claw's jumps kids. It's good to be the Claw. There should be an action sports all rounder competition. Claw would do pretty well ya know.

  • + 4
Compared to the 10..."ahem" questions that that guy put to Hunter the other day, it is nice to see some questions that encourage Darren to talk about things that we are actually interested in...

Tippie front flip FTW! haha, love it!

"Talent, y'know, it only goes so deep. You gotta have a little bit of talent and a whole lot of determination to get to where you want to be." - Darren Berrecloth, Seasons
  • + 2
One of the best video segments of all time IMO. No bros, just a man and his steed and focus. His passion for the sport really comes out.
  • + 1
a true role model for people not just cyclists
[Reply]
  • + 4
Tippie seems down for the fun stuff! That pond looks pretty fun.
[Reply]
  • + 2
Most of us just use a crappy bmx to jump into ponds but I guess a custom build p slope is the claws pond jump weapon of choice.
[Reply]
  • + 4
Claw listening to Steely Dan huh? Right on man!
[Reply]
  • + 2

 Casually drinking a Redballs....??
He would of looked cooler if he had the blue glasses on his eyes.

sigh
[Reply]
  • + 2
I would love to be the claw for a day!!!
  • + 2
I'd would even pay for that!!!
  • + 2
i would too! but how about this, strive to be the BEST of yourself for one day. i dont mean that as a negative response - i'd like to think that's how the Claw would respond to us. i once heard a great mtn biker say, "prepare as hard as you can prepare, so that everyone else is worrying and thinking about YOU during the race, and not the other way around."
[Reply]
  • + 2
I wonder if he got over his fear of front flips
  • + 1
good question!!! there is a scene in "where the trail ends" where he gets really pissed off after aborting a front flip. I believe everybody here saw that a thousand times. I know I did!!!
[Reply]

I lost a lot of respect for Bearcloth after the shot in where the trail ends where he makes mountain bikers look like a bunch of juvenile dumb asses by throwing a $600 helmet off a cliff and punching himself in the head a bunch of times.

I get it - your stressed, but you just inspired a whole flock of groms to lose their shit every time they can't land a trick. Good job.
  • + 1
Dude dont hate, Any good rider knows that is can be highly frustrating to land a new line or a new trick even it takes all day or whole week or shit maybe even a year
  • + 1
Meh, he's only human. We all have moments, where one's behavior could be better. Wouldn't loose respect for somebody based on just a snapshot of their personality.
[Reply]
  • + 1
Claw is getting fricken huge. Working out hard.
[Reply]
  • + 1
 "Fast is loose" Love it.
