The whole weekend was about wind and sand, forcing schedule changes and a shortened course for the finals.
The Swedish team chill on the landing with Brett Rheeder before the finals.
Anthony Messere on his way up to the course
A superstylish nac nac.
Anthony loves to get sideways.
Messere pulled a big flatspin off the stepdown but didn't make it to the finals.
A number of riders crashed today due to the strong wind, but luckily there didn't seem to be any serious injuries.
Chubey showed some good tricks today but didn't make it to the finals.
French rider Louis Reboul did some nice tricks during training.
And pulled a huge flatspin during the finals.
Rheeder was throwing normal and opposite 360s.
Yannick is finally back after his injury. As you can see he's going strong, and he made it to the finals today.
Thomas Genon looking focused before his final run.
Anton Thelander, the young gun from Sweden, showed some high level skills during today's finals.
Thomas did one of the best tricks today, truckdriver to tailwhip
Peter "Party" Henke with a big flatspin.
Another flatspin from Mr. Henke.
The one and only Brett Rheeder oppo 360, oppo barspin.
A 360 tailwhip from Sam.
And a big 720 during his final run
Martin Soderstrom landed on his ass after a 360 double tailwhip and ended up stuck to his bike

Martin having issues..
(May 12, 2013 at 1:45)
Awesome that he's throwing big tricks and taking risks though?
(May 11, 2013 at 23:12)
Norbs got robbed,
Looks like a trek session,
Next trending comment: WHERES SEMENUK?
(May 12, 2013 at 19:39)

Running scared to film some video segments.
Pilgrim smashes it yet again, they do definitely deserve more money.
Opposite trick all you want, or just throw banging runs together like Pilgrim!!! Ledge.
(May 12, 2013 at 3:31)
Opposte tricks might be technical but personally a big 7 then a 3 downside whip is way more interesting to watch than a flip whip then an oppo flip whip. Well deserved win in my opinion.
(May 12, 2013 at 4:30)
multiple user comments "Semenuk's running away" "Semenuk is scared"
Anyone remember the interview where he answered with "I don't fear anything" (or something like that) ?
If he is putting his all into his film segments then when they are realised their are going to be allot of "I was with him all the way" comments replacing the "scared ones"
(May 12, 2013 at 9:17)
Yeah what he said!
(May 12, 2013 at 11:23)
How many times has Pilgrim won the FMB overall ? Hmmmm............. 0 !!
(May 12, 2013 at 0:50)
As long as Sam keeps throwing 720's into his runs I don't see people beating him.
(May 12, 2013 at 14:41)
and it was on first jump, not even last
(May 11, 2013 at 21:16)
bigger purse and better tricks at ranchstyle. Just saying
(May 11, 2013 at 22:52)
(May 11, 2013 at 18:04)
Wow, just a staggering purse...
(May 12, 2013 at 15:59)
(May 11, 2013 at 17:51)
How do you get a bike stuck to you?
(May 11, 2013 at 18:35)
It's actually easier than you might think. It looks like his shirt was stuck between the wheel and seat
(May 11, 2013 at 19:00)
ok mortifiedpenguin cleared it up for me too
(May 12, 2013 at 21:19)
I still don't know which one of Sam Pilgrim's runs I liked better, in my opinion both equally badass
(May 11, 2013 at 20:38)
looks like monster energy is making a comeback
(May 11, 2013 at 18:29)
Rheeder is the man !!
(May 11, 2013 at 17:53)
Meserre got robbed..
(May 11, 2013 at 18:12)
You spelled Norbs wrong.
(May 11, 2013 at 18:39)
Judging by how much this photog was swooning over him in this article, he musta been. no one that has failed to make finals would cover 40% of the recap.
(May 11, 2013 at 23:09)
For some reason all of the non riding pics of the dudes made them look..... Idk kinda slow in the head. Other than that those shots are dope. If soderstroms pic of his bike up his ass isnt pod I'm deleting my PB account! (jk I live on PB)
(May 12, 2013 at 1:45)
Or he just played safe and bitched out.
Go big and win like Pilgrim, go big like Martin and win if you stick it.
Or be top 10 and generic/dull.
(May 12, 2013 at 12:16)
So bouldertom, are you like, a troll or something?
(May 13, 2013 at 15:58)
I was there, and he didn't do very good runs, he fell on the last jump!!!! he didn't do "big tricks", but this dude is awesome!!! one of my favorite, i was disappointed he didn't make it to the finals, but still the best 3
(May 12, 2013 at 10:33)
(May 11, 2013 at 22:28)
$2500? really? Can't even get a decent bike for that these days. These guys are world-class athletes and should be treated as such.
