Guys @ iXS, if you need to advertise your products, please choose some less conspicuous frame for the photo shoot.
I can't focus on the clothes, all I can see is that freaking Knolly Chilcotin Smile

IXS, colour your world of mountain biking! Really, their colour pattern is so lively, you can directly feel the energy! Very nice lineup btw.

You're an American that grew up in Cali... it's color, not colour... even spell check says its wrong... lol

flag OTehNoes (Oct 18, 2012 at 6:25)
Actually the American spelling is color, the English version is colour, you've just got your spell check set to English GB instead of English US.

flag Apostt (Oct 18, 2012 at 6:29)
I am not an "American" and did not grow up in California. Because of the segregation and racism on Pinkbike, I had to change my country to USA, like you ordinary people. Because, people who saw my real country did not want to sell their stuff to me, did not even want to talk with me. What do you think, is spell checking your biggest problem, or you have something bigger to worry about?

Yeah I mean all this lovely bike gear is all well and good but its obvious that spell check is more important here.. Rolleyes

Think so, gear is great, especially "colours", but sorry for me, I am from the ones who has a black bike, black helmet and black gear. Maybe this is the reason I found so much energy in their products Smile

No I definitely agree with you man, really nice vivid colours! Though again, that might be because I too have a black bike, helmet and jersey lol

Haha cool. I really like the "knight rider" theme since I was a child and I haven't wear so much expect of black clothes for many years, but interestingly, after I saw these new stuff from IXS, I don't want to wear black anymore, want to get colorful in some way Smile

I guess the only colour in my kit is the orange fire iridium lens in my goggles, which does stand out a lot, that and my green knee pads and gold detailing on my bike!

 Americans can't spell

America really gets a bad reputation from a few people. Its a pretty big fricken country and everybody seems to generalize it to a bunch of fat stupid lazy racist white guys with a f*cked up government, when in reality most Americans are actually very agreeable. I'm just sick of being labeled and generalized by the country I live in, and I'm sure it can be a lot worse for some other countries.

Now on a more cheerful note, I have never heard of the company iXS, but I really like the products shown here. Can't wait to check them out!

Apostt- I'd like to know where you're from because there are some areas where scammers are prevalent... I hardly see how that's racism in anyway, haha. Lying about where you're from and then asking people to ship outside of the country to where you really live doesn't help create confidence in people that are selling to you that you're in fact, not a scammer. Wink

And yes folks, I do know that colour is the proper term in other countries such as England, which is why I made the joking post in the first place, haha. Apostt I'm with you with the mudered out look, black is the best and that sinister III jacket looks so tight.

Okay folks, looks like now it is the time to reveal my identity. I am from Turkey. Please don't misunderstand me, I don't blame anyone as racist right now, but I had some issues when I was in USA. Therefore, it was not about shipping or something related with that, last summer I was in USA and trying to buy some stuff from ebay and pinkbike to complete my bike. I see, my country suck in many ways, I think you can all say the same for your countries as well, but this shouldn't be the deal, we are a bunch of people who ride their bikes, and this should be our common language and we should act in a good manner. Maybe you do not care about this, but I have to, because in my country mountain biking is nothing can be comparable with the things you do, there are just some hardtail xc guys messing around and that's all. This is why I am here on pinkbike, why I should change my country and why I am saying these right now. Because I need to. By the way, I don't feel like a scammer, really.

Nothing wrong with being from Turkey...
  • + 1
flag Apostt (Oct 18, 2012 at 11:08)
I thought so, what can be wrong? I don't really know, and I don't care.

Another example, this time a guy from your country, England. He was selling a bike computer and was saying that shipping inside EU is ok, than I won the auction, everything was ok, than I gave my shipping address to him and he refused to send it to Turkey. He was responding my questions very fast and he was very interested, but after I told him that I live in Turkey, he started to act completely different, although I was saying that he can also send it to one of my friend in Germany. Wtf?

Really I can't see the point, I don't even look like a Turkish guy, psychically and mentally. This should be the thing you called racism I think, really pointless.
  • + 4
flag OTehNoes (Oct 18, 2012 at 11:13)
Well that could be because he said he'd ship within the EU and as far as I'm aware Turkey isn't within the EU. I wouldn't say that that is racist, its just what he's willing to do, I don't like shipping outside of the UK, not because I'm racist but because its expensive to ship any further than the UK and takes LOADS of effort.

But that's the thing, its not that I wouldn't ship to you because you're Turkish and I don't like Turkish people/Turkey, I wouldn't because of the reasons I said before.

flag Apostt (Oct 18, 2012 at 11:30)
Yes I know Turkey is not in the Europe Union, but he refused to ship it to Germany, because he was racist, if I wanted him to ship it to Germany at the beginning, he would send it. After he realized that I am Turk, he changed his mind and didn't want to shop with me. But nevermind, I think this is not the place to talk about these issues, I feel like I am ruining the topic and the guys at IXS are swearing at me Smile

I do agree with TheStig04. Americans aren't all as bad as some make them look.

However...
